Just about to start
I left my nook at home when we went to New Orleans, so I was never able to start on it! -_-
Super excited about it though. =]

Amazing series!! Probably one of the best I've ever read.

very good series
I have to find out the order on here. There's a store that sells them but they aren't in order. D'oh!

i started reading the first in the fever series and just couldnt follow. will maybe try it again sometime. happy with blue bloods for now. :)
First Fever book pales in comparison to the rest of the series. Shadowfever - one of the best books EVER.

Think of Jace Britnee, he'll get you through the day

Reenz wrote: "i started reading the first in the fever series and just couldnt follow. will maybe try it again sometime. happy with blue bloods for now. :)"What Brit said. The first book is a starter book and most people just read it to get to the next one. It gets SO much better with each book in the series. The last few books are 5 stars. I hope you get the chance to go back and try it again.
Almost everyone that ends up reading through ends up saying this is one of their all time favorite series. It really is that good.
I'm still reading
Although I'm not able to sink my teeth into it. Unfortunately I think Fever has ruined me for a while. Everyone says the Iron Fey series is really good so I'm hoping that my brain gets out fever mode soon or else I feel doomed that every book I read from hereon out will pale in comparison. Please someone convince me this will not be so. :-)
@Katty Am now! And it was..okay.@Alison The Iron Fey is a great series but its hard to come down from fever!! I'm finally getting out of it though.
Alison wrote: "Brit, I hope I do soon."I loved it right from the start. But then again I didn't read it after Fever. But its a great series it isn't really like other YA PNR books out there.
Katty wrote: "so i assume you recommend to read as many books as possible before reading darkfever? xD"Lol well darkfever doesnt get you completely hooked on the series. By the 3rd one though they're addicting.
Have you considered just dropping the series altogether? It seems like it's been painful for you to read the last few. Why torture yourself?I liked Burned just alright, but thought Awakened was a big improvement. What saved Burned for me was the storyline with Rephaim. And Kalona because I just really like Kalona.
I've come this far though. I'd torture myself for dropping it. Maybe I'm not in the mood for it atm.I really like Rephaim and Kalona but they're the only things I like about it. And Aphrodite but meh.
I know the OCD thing with hating to quit out on a series.Oh wow, Meg finally moved on to book 2, haha. I wasn't paying much attention earlier. Hurry up so you can join our Shadowfever discussion already in our topic folder. :p
Alison wrote: "Everyone says the Iron Fey series is really good so I'm hoping that my brain gets out fever mode soon or else I feel doomed that every book I read from hereon out will pale in comparison. I had a hard time with Iron King because I was in a really bad mindset when I read it, so I think that it might be something I go back and re-read when I'm in a fantasy mood, just to give it another chance.
