Ahhhhh :/

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Someday I hope Brit gets that ereader. I don't even care which brand she gets. She can get a cheap piece of poo one. At least that way I can get her books that she can read somewhere other than at her computer. :p

Sigh...went and read for a while then tried to sleep and got back up after laying there wide awake for 2 hours.

I was surprised at the fact that I liked the first Blue Bloods. I didn't think I would at all and it was pretty good. Most of you all have read the other books though and I haven't yet. Soon...maybe.

message 4169: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I knooow I need to get one! When I get a job..*cough*. I actually heard there's a way to read e-books on PSP so I'm going to look into that..one day..

Ohhhhh I love Blue bloods you should definitely read the rest!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) It's probably just an app you download. A quick net browse would probably find something. My older kid has a PSP go he's never used and I'm tempted to steal it for my purse.

message 4171: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Yeah I looked it up there is quit a few apps and also ways to convert files to be able to read on the PSP. Ah I just have a normal PSP..xD.

Alison | 234 comments I'm just popping in to say hi. I'm getting snowed under with taxes and don't have time to join the conversation but didn't want you to think I'd abandoned ship :-) Gonna be like this for the next couple of months now.

We still haven't gotten all our forms in to do our taxes and we could realllly use the money. This time of year is annoying.

Good luck Alison.

....

Moving on. I really wanted to like Cracked Up to Be by Courtney Summers but it just wasn't for me so I quit out on it.

Gonna juggle 1 YA fantasy, 1 YA dystopian and 1 adult historical romance because I'm not sure what I'm in the mood for.

The Demon King (Seven Realms, #1) by Cinda Williams Chima Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld Prelude to a Scandal (Scandal, #1) by Delilah Marvelle

message 4192: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I can't get into any of the books I've recently read after Shadowfever.

message 4193: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Jan 26, 2011 10:07PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) It took me a few before I got one to stick.

BECAUSE SHADOWFEVER WAS AWESOME, duh.

Why are there people who still haven't read this series? It boggles the mind, it's too good for words. I just hate that book 1 was kind of slow because people quit out on it before getting to the full epic-ness of these books.

message 4194: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Jan 26, 2011 10:05PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I will say that Stray's first few chapters aren't very exciting, but that series does get good once it hits its stride. I think you'll like it once you get further into the book.

message 4195: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Yeah, I'm liking it. I'm pretty far through. I probably won't get to finish the rest of the series for a while though.

message 4196: by Catherine (new)

Catherine (cattymccat) | 754 comments I'm reading The Iron King & Angel Star... Which are both really good so far, but I think The Iron King is a little too fantasy for me. I'm not really into fae stories for some reason. :/

The Iron King (Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa Angel Star (Angel Star, #1) by Jennifer Murgia

message 4197: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Awww. I love The Iron king hehe.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) You'll have to let me know what you think of Angel Star. I've seen people both strongly like and strongly dislike that one.

message 4199: by Catherine (new)

Catherine (cattymccat) | 754 comments So far I'm really enjoying Angel Star! I like her style.
