Ren is my husband!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I like Ren okay, but he's not in the realm of Jace.

message 3906: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) LOL! Yeah right....what ever you say Britnee...I guess that leaves me with Patch and Dimitri? I staked claim on Edward a LOOOOOOONG time a go so he doesn't count. Patch and Dimitri are all MINE! Muahahaha

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) Whoa, Nelly. Got me all freaked out there. I was like O.O Shwha?! /paranoia

I'd cut you for Cam, Britnee. Lol.

message 3908: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) @Jessica No way Patch and Dimitri are mine too!!

@Meghan No way! lol

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Yah way.

*Races to hunt down Patch and Dimitri*

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) Please. Patch? I'd rather tag Dimitri than be worried about angels coming and eating my face for foolin' around with Patch.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Why do I picture her with a bow and arrow going after them Katniss style?

I'd tag them both lol! Badonkadonk!!

HAHAH that's so an image I had, too.

message 3916: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I tag 'em all!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Then drag them back to your lair and tie them to a bed like the chick did in Misery?

*backs away from this topic before it starts getting bloody*

message 3918: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) All at the same time?!

Lets just say for arguments sake that they are all tagable and we could all badonkadonk them and spread them ALL on crackers! LOL

Why does the bit about crackers just sound.. yuck? BAHAHAH Patch bologna.

Also, absolutely at the same time. It's not gay if their balls don't touch. Just sayin'.

brittany (cirilla) @Meghan Haha true that!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Wow. Did I take a wrong turn and leave the YA group?

Not that I mind, lmao. That just threw me.

Brit, we need to convert Meghann to our newfound love of good adult series.

I'd happily get rid of the crackers and just keep them spreaded! LOL!

That we do!

Meghan! - You have to read fever and Night huntress!

message 3926: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) I also have to read those books. The only adult series I've read is the Succubus Series by Richelle.

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) Stacia, you and Isa actually the one who got me started on the Fever series! Granted, I've only read the first one.. Lol. I think that counts! I'm going to New Orleans next week for a funeral, so I was planning on reading the second one on the car ride. =]

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Fever and Night Huntress are must reads. Top of the list. I also really liked Shifters too, and BDB is a guilty pleasure of mine. There are a couple others in pnr/uf that are really good, but those are my favorites.

I just started the Succubus one, so I'll let you know if I like it.

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) What about Jaz Parks? I keep hearing whisperings about that one.

They are really good. The books all start slow with clues and twists then eventually lead to the big battle at the end. Georgina Kincaid is a really likable heroine, she's naturally a Succubus who wants to be human, its all very complicated but they're good. The sex is pretty graphic, but its pretty much all you want in a adult series lol.

Ohhhhh I'll have to read it then! Ha i've read Night Huntress. Graphic sex aint gunna bother me.

I haven't heard of that one

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Shifters is better because it's werecats (which are awesome) and has a hot love triangle, plus has more story/plot. BDB is just pretty much straight up vampire romance, so it's good for a quick, easy read when all you want is for a hot guy to find a girl and hookup during the times he's not out killing other bad vamps. It's complete fluff to the max, but I consider it a guilty pleasure, much like HoN is for me in YA.

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) Alright, ladies. Should I read the first book in Night Huntress next or the second book in the Fever series?

That's alright then....I'm going to check out Night Huntress. I could use some graphic sex LOL!

I want to read Shifters as well as BDB.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I've heard mixed reviews on Jaz Parks. It's one that I'll get to eventually at some point.

Brit, Meg, Jessica, I have all of the series if you're looking (Shifters, BDB, Night Huntress, Fever, Jaz Parks, etc.), but the BDB books are weird converted copies that have a web address randomly situated on each page. I need to find a better source on those.

Okay! I'll check out Shifters then.

I also wanna read the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh that looks good

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) What's BDB?

black dagger brotherhood

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) OH! Damn, I kept meaning to get into that, but wasn't sure about the sex to plot ratio. Lol.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) @ Meg,

I'd say finish the Fever series first. Shadowfever is just too good for words.

I will say though that Night Huntress book 1 is WAY better than Fever book 1. Fever is a series that gets progressively better with each book. Number 4 and 5 are SO good.

Skip it for now. It's not as good as the other ones we've been talking about. They're good for mindless reading.

message 3949: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Shadowfever is beyond epic.

Yeah Fever keeps getting better. The NH books stay the same all through, IMO. But they're greaaat.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Well hello there Timipre. :)
