What are you reading now?
Oh, no one will take Jace's place in my heart, he's my all time favorite! (for YA at least...) I adore Cassel but he's not Jace. He's definitely a contender though for "new breakout guy."I just like to rep the books that aren't as well known. White Cat reads very similar to an MI book and even has a hidden mention of Jace, so all MI fans should read it.

Halfway to the Grave This novel is an action packed page turner, which keeps the reader enthralled. I love the pace of this book, especially when it gathers speed towards it's exciting end. 5 stars
Storm Glass Not as good as the study series but still good. 3 stars
Naked in Death A topical story , with adult interactions, senators, and a shady boyfriend. Recommended, I will be reading more of this author 4 stars
The Coven this second book in the series is fabulous and i would recommend it to anyone,the characters are likeable the plot keeps you interested 4 starsI have started

im reading Hexbound at the moment. i collect books, busy with the anita blake and sookie stackhouse books but it has become and expensive hobby so unfortunately i download my books. sometimes i can get them the day they are released. I know it sux for the author because of the piracy. but its a part of life. plus when i get my kindle, its just a matter of converting and then i still have my collection.

Okay, I'm just over halfway through Dreamfever and I have to say Barron's is a jerk! If I was Mac I'd tell him to shove his OOP's where the sun don't shine. Would it kill him to show a little compassion.Starting to lean towards V'lane. didn't think I would but I am.
Hope Barrons gets a bit nicer towards the end. And no, don't tell me, all of you 'I've-read-Shadowfever-already-so-there-muh' people :-)
I wouldn't dream of it.Something that I do find interesting, now that you mention it, is how in adult reads the guy can get away with being a huge jerk and we all accept it as part of the man's 'inner demons' so to speak, even if the guy is infuriating. Barrons is in so many ways a complete jackass, yet he remains so darn sexy.
Throughout the whole series, Barrons has witheld a ton of information from Mac, and we don't know why until the end. Is it for her own safety or his own personal gain?
Everyone just shrugs it off because we love Barrons and 'figure' that it will work itself out. After all, it's part of their unresolved feelings for each other, right?
If the same exact scenario happens in a YA book, people flip out over it, for example the way Daniel acts in Fallen/Torment. Even though I am a diehard Cam fan and prefer him to Daniel, I still completely get that there MUST be a reason why Daniel simply can not tell Luce what's going on, and there's a good chance that it's for her own safety. I honestly think that if he "could" let her in on the secret he would, but something is not allowing him to. Yet people get annoyed with him over it. I just don't get it.
You have a point. Barrons is hot though. Daniel I can accept - Luce is a brat - but I'm still mad at Will.
Luce is the worst of them all. She doesn't deserve any of them imo.

I am! That's all I'm thinking lol. I'm starting to skim pages now. I think it's because I don't like Luce, she's just another Bella and I can't eb doing with another whiny heroine who can't stay away from the hot boy.Cam, Cam, Cam.....I will finish it as hard as I'm finding it.

It is slow...there's a lot of chapters where Luce just moans and whines and freaks out about stuff and wants to be with Daniel and when she's not, she's sad, and then she's with Cam she moans that she's not with Daniel. At least Bella was happy to be with Edward, and when she was with Jacob she didn't constantly want to be with Edward because she was going to be with him later that day/night anyway! Ugh enough! I'm only reading because the girls say its all about Cam, and you know what? It is about Cam...Cam Cam Cam!! He's the only good thing about this book.

When a book is really really good I find it hard to read something else if I am still on a high from it.
