Paul wrote: "Are the shifters series any good i was thinking of reading them."@Paul, heck yeah! There are a lot of SHIFTERS fans in this group (Stacia, Joanna, Truthic and me...) :) The first book is just OK but the series does get better and better after each installment :)
@Artemis, so want to hear what you think about AWAKENED :)
... and totally out of left field, but I just love this: http://www.goodreads.com/author_blog_...

@Artemis Im about 80% done with The Amulet by Alison Pensy and it got really good about 1/3 into the book!
I've just finished Crescendo! OMG!! That's all I can say! What's with the cliff hanger?! Seriously? Ugh!
Patch-Tastic though!
Yeah, it had one heck of a cliffhanger.@ Alison,
Yes, the first one is Halfway to the Grave. The series is adult and does have adult content.
I get how you feel about Outlander. People either love it or they don't. It was one of my first historical reads so I didn't have anything else to compare it with. If I read it now, I'd probably pass it up too because I'm used to books that hook you quicker by now. I'm glad that I read it before reading straight up historical romances though because I fell in love with the books and will always have a soft spot in my heart for them, even if it's taking me forever to get through the series. I only recommend it for fans of either historical fiction or epic love stories, since it's sort of a collision of Hfiction and Hromance.
@ Paul,
Yes, a few of us love Shifters around here. If you like girls that can kick butt you'll like this one.
@ Isa,
I replied to your mail and am confused about something. When you get the chance can you get back to me?

@Stacia, I sent a reply :)
Okay, thanks. That clears things up.Just want to say that I love Vishous, Isa. I can see why you like him so much. I'm looking forward to John's story too.

Yeah. Can't believe I waited so long to get back into the series. I read book 1 back in September, book 2 in October, and book 3 in November and then got sidetracked with other stuff. Glad to be back in the with the brothers again. :)
I'm reading
..I read Marked but it's kind of a drag for me.. is it gonna get better?? I already got Betrayed up to Untamed from the library but I'm still thinking if I should continue reading it..
Reading
. I was going to read
, but as I started it, I noticed it was the second book! Haha! Oh, well. Time to hit the library!
@Stacia, enjoy the brothers... I'm kind of missing them. I am a big fan of John, Qhuinn and Blay...@Scarletsurrender, read on! they get better. :)
@Camilla, how's Girl in the Arena... (is it anything like Hunger Games?) :)
Isamlq
Thanks I'll definitely look it up thanks
Thanks I'll definitely look it up thanks
@ Artemis & @Camilla, Thanks for the nice comments. I've been told that the second book gets better, but that was by friends and family, hence why I asked for your opinions, hope you think so too when you get to the manuscript. I am trying to improve my writing all the time. @Catherine - YAY you. You will love it!
@Alison I didn't even know you had a book! I totally just hopped on B&N and bought it for my Nook. Starting it as soon as I finish the Iron King series! It looks AWESOME!
@Catherine, Okay now I've gone all gooey:-) I can't believe I've "Christened" someone's kindle LOL. My thanks to you and @Meghann. Let me know what you think of it. The 2nd one will be out late spring/early summer. It's going to be called The Emerald Staff.
lol I've been wanting to read it for a while now, so when I got the Kindle, I automatically bought it! :D

Good on you! Both great series (:

S wrote: "lol yep, i'm actually getting into half way to the grave. I'm not in love with Bones yet like everyone else, but I probably will once i finish the book lol"Lol I like, instantly fell in love with him. But the books are so good.
He seems to be really sweet, and I like his humor. Some male characters I just instantly fall for. What other series characters do you love?
S wrote: "He seems to be really sweet, and I like his humor. Some male characters I just instantly fall for. What other series characters do you love?"Just in Night Huntress series? Or other series?
S wrote: "Other series :)"Oh! Okay. I love Puck from The Iron Fey; Jem from Clockwork Angel; Cam from Fallen; Patch from Hush, Hush; Jace from TMI; Dimitri AND Adrian from Vampire Academy; Peeta from The Hunger Games etc lol
You?
Do you prefer YA males? Bones is definitely more adult in his mannerisms. He has more of a raw appeal to him because of his forwardness, but that's exactly what the draw is for me. He isn't going to beat around the bush or play awkward. What you see is what you get with him.Jace is my favorite YA male, but I age him in my head to about 21, since he wouldn't be legal for me to crush on at 17. :p

I love Puck too, I love Adrian, I love Jace, I love Will and Jem, I love Cam, not sure about Patch. I love Eric from Sookie Stackhouse, and Jean-Claude from Anita Blake series and sooo many others lol
