I've only read Ender's Game by Card. Is Pathfinder as good?

Finished
and I'm SO in love with this series. It looks like just a cheesy romance series but omg these books are so fantastic. So much witty banter, and great chemistry with all of the characters. I want to personally write this author and tell her that I love her.Reading
and
and I'm excited for both books since I loved the previous ones. This is shaping up to be a great reading week!

I saw that and I wish I had a copy to share. That was one of my library ones. :(You should like the League series I'm guessing, since it's similar to BDB but with more of a space/sci-fi slant instead of vamps (which actually made it more fun for me personally). The type of stories are the same though, except the guys are in "The League" instead of "The Brotherhood."

Oooh and I haven't read anything by Kleypas do you have any suggestions on which book of hers to start with? Thanks!
. It's not my favorite of hers, but it's the start of the series I'm reading (each book gets better). I love Cam in that book though. He's one of my all time favorite male leads.I just added to my post about the League as you were posting, so you may have missed that comment.

Oh nice. :) I don't really like Amelia in the first book, but Cam is so pimp. Book 3 was my favorite so far. There were so many quotable/funny lines throughout the whole story and I was giggling for so much of the book.I suppose I should get around to reading Hunger, since I read Gone months ago - all the way back in July. Maybe next month or March. January is booked (hah...BOOKed. My sense of humor is terrible) already.
I'm STILL reading Halo. It's good, but it's taking FOREVER. Is it me, or it stretched out a lot. I feel like I've been reading a 200 page book for 400 pages. Plus, I just started watching the show Firefly & that seems to be taking all my free time. :x
is Night Huntress series good??? and what's Night Huntress World? are those two different? I'm getting antsy waiting for Shadowfever. that's why I want to read another series. gaaah.
That's what I'm watching it on, but halfway through I just went & bought it. It was only $18! I was excited!I'm starting Nightshade by Andrea Cremer... I'm putting Halo on hold for awhile.
Are you joking? Have we not been preaching the goodness of Night Huntress for a couple of months now?Night Huntress comes first. Night Huntress World is a spin-off from characters in Night Huntress.
First book is
. Since we talk about this stuff and you read your mail, you know where to find it under author Jeanine Frost.Read it now. :p

I'm reading the third one right now SO GOOD..
Joanna wrote: " I'm getting antsy waiting for Shadowfever. that's why I want to read another series. gaaah."Shadowfever. Dying here. Need it yesterday.

Ohhh Nightshade.
@Stacia really? lol. okokok. :) I WILL READ IT. hahai am dying for that book too!(Shadowfever)
@Britnee okok. i will read it too. :)
so now reading
Is it good? Please tell me Nightshade is better than Halo... I can't stand Beth being "Oh! Xavier!... Oh! God!" for one more second.
I stalled out on Halo too. Nightshade is good as long as you don't mind hating on Shay with the rest of us.
Catherine wrote: "Is it good? Please tell me Nightshade is better than Halo... I can't stand Beth being "Oh! Xavier!... Oh! God!" for one more second."BAHAHAHAH you make me happy that I didn't have time to read that last month.
Also, Nightshade is decent. The ending annoyed me, but hey, there's always the second book for Cremer to atone for her mistakes. =]
Also, what the fuck kind of name is Xavier? For some reason, it really really annoys me when authors choose these really weird, uncommon names for their characters.
Where are you Carina? You're missing the convo again. I know you're going to be upset! It's 3:20 a.m. here and I should be sleeping.
@Joanna YAY! just..BONES!@Catherine I haven't read Halo xD but Nightshade is good apart from SHAY. But no she doesn't talk to him like that ^^
Stacia (impatient for Shadowfever) wrote: "Where are you Carina? You're missing the convo again. I know you're going to be upset!"
lol. DITTO! where are you Carina? :))
@Catherine Halo is ok. but i like Nightshade more. :)
@Britnee now i'm curious who this Bones is. :)
Bones is as hot as Barrons. Maybe more so. I love them both.@ Catherine,
For a second I thought you bought Nightshade for 18 bucks and I was about to say you got ripped off, but then I realize you meant Firefly. When you're done with Firefly don't forget to watch the movie Serenity, which was the spin-off of the series.
OMGOMGOMGOMG my ex and I watched Firefly together. Best freaking TV show ever. I'm so sad that it was cancelled.
Stacia (impatient for Shadowfever) wrote: "Where are you Carina? You're missing the convo again. I know you're going to be upset! It's 3:20 a.m. here and I should be sleeping."
Lol, I was thinking about her too.
Meghann wrote: "OMGOMGOMGOMG my ex and I watched Firefly together. Best freaking TV show ever. I'm so sad that it was cancelled."What's FIREFLY?? what's it about.
@Britnee @Stacia Barrons = Bones? ok i'm definitely excited to read this series now. :)
Firefly is this weird mash-up that's half space smugglers meets old west. It's so hard to describe the show because there's sort of a high tech/futuristic thing going on with some of the planets, and a completely no-technology thing on others (the rebel planets). One planet might have space vehicles for transport, while the next has horses and wagons. You have to ignore the really cheesy theme song and just appreciate the goodness that's lying underneath.Joss Whedon, the guy that was behind the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer is responsible for this one.
There was only one season, but after it was cancelled, the fans revolted and campaigned so hard to get it back on the air that the big screen movie Serenity was rushed out to provide closure to the series.
oh. ok. :)just one more question, is it important to read Unbound by Jeaniene Frost? i read somewhere that it contains a prequel to Night Huntress.
i also saw many deleted scenes in Jeaniene Frost's website. ok, i am thrilled. reading the book nooow. :)
In case that doesn't convince people. On my friends list - 21 people have read it.
15 people gave it 5 stars.
6 people gave it 4 stars.
All 21 people that read it gave it 4 or 5 stars. There is no other book or series of ANY of the books I've read that has a higher rating or complete unanimous support.
Which means : if you haven't read Night Huntress, you're really going to need to.
(Felicia Day gave it 2 stars, but she's not on my friends list...I'm just following her cuz I love The Guild webisodes. WTH girl? You had to break the flow!)
