Maze Runner isnt what I expected... not as good as HG but its interesting... :)
and wasn't House of Night as good as (if not better than) Vampire Academy?
*Mrs.Brightside* wrote: "NO!"lol! i really liked the chemistry between Stark and Zoey (did I get the names right? Its been awhile since I last read HoN)... in VA I LOVE Adrian, nevermind Rose...
HoN i loved from the start VA was a little difficult for me in the first book after that i was hooked but i love Hon from the start
Aiyanna wrote: "i think Hon is just as good as VA"In HoN I really wanted to kick Zoey for returning to Heath time and time again, but in VA I found Dimitri's angst after being re-vamped(?)annoying... I really felt sorry for both female MCs...
Still, I LOVE both of those HoN and VA!
(and, yes, i did say "re-vamped")

I enjoyed
... Its different. The MCs humor reminded me of Hex Hall.

Sooo worth it!
Shiver is actually the first book I read this summer and loved! Its what got me back into reading after a couple of years of neglecting it, Im so glad I found that book and with it my love of reading lol =)
Burned would have been so much better if the whole book was in Stevie Ray's point of view.Is it wrong for me to want her with a bird though?
At least VA had me hooked from the first page!!!I'm still not hooked on HoN and I'm halfway through the third book! I'm suprised I didn't give up on this series..changed my mind! I'm reading
now!
I just bought the first book in that series (Darkest Powers). Do we have a discussion folder for it yet? I don't remember seeing one, but I have a bad habit of missing things.
I'll be reading the book in October for a challenge read, so it may be a couple of weeks before I make a post in there.
I thought i deleted it but i didnt we have it its just no one has used it in a while so you have to click "view more discussions" and you will see it

Wasn't he a little creepy? (And for the life of me, I cannot recall his name!)
@Mrs. Brightside: Hows Darkest Powers going? Ive heard some good/bad things about it. But I dont know if I should pick it up..

what's darkest powers about??

I thought the bird was a bit annoying. All he kept talking about was his father. His father who didn't give a damn about him.
Personally, I prefer Aphrodite's POV. Oh, how I love characters who can make me laugh :D

Excerpt from Persnickety Snark: "Chloe Saunders sees dead people. Yes, like in the films. The problem is, in real life saying you see ghosts gets you a one-way ticket to the psych ward. And at 15, all Chloe wants to do is fit in at school and maybe get a boy to notice her. But when a particularly violent ghost haunts her, she gets noticed for all the wrong reasons. Her seemingly crazed behaviour earns her a trip to Lyle House, a centre for 'disturbed teens'..."

its about a girl who gets sent to a mental hospital or mental teen group home really, because she is seeing things then she finds out she really isnt seeing things as in the crazy sense she can see ghosts something is wrong with the group home so her and her friends escape and have crazy adventures trying to get free of the mental institute/group it is a VERY good book you should definitely check it out

Aiyanna wrote: "its a good book!! you will love it!"i heard a lot positive comments,i'll try to find it and read it.,on my to-read list i have 106 books, and i think they're all great..ugh!!
I just finished reading the 12th chapter in City of Ashes and i gotta say, this book is A-MA-ZING! I hate it that i have to put it down to go to work i wish i could keep reading straight trought the whole series nonstop lol, I love Clary n Jace n Simon and its horrible that they're suffering so much. But tonight im gonna try to finish even if i barely get any sleep it'll be worth it =D!
Darkest Powers is about how Chloe and some people she knows have powers, and they're on the run from people who want to keep them locked up. Sorry! I'm not the best explain-er..
Dora610; I love Simon! He's there for Clary waiting for her to love him back and its really sad. He reminds me of how bad I felt for Jacob when he loved Bella in Eclipse.
Dark Lover Lover Eternal Lover Awakened Lover RevealedI am on the 4th book of the Black Daggar Brotherhood novels and am loving them!!
Right now at this minute, I'm reading
which is seriously AWESOME. Don't judge a book by it's cover. It's amazing.
