Thanks a bunch."

Jeannie, Hex Hall and Demon Glass.. There's the paranormal bit and they're super funny

The Ghost and the Goth (The Ghost and the Goth, #1) by Stacey Kade

Queen of the Dead (The Ghost and the Goth, #2) by Stacey Kade

Vampire Crush by A.M. Robinson

Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) by Rachel Hawkins (haven't finished it yet, but it is really fun so far)

Demonglass (Hex Hall, #2) by Rachel Hawkins

All really fun and light reads that are paranormal/fantasy with slight romance.

The last book that I read out of all of those was the Ghost and the Goth and it was just so refreshing. Very fun book, this one.

message 7553: by Carina (new)

Carina Thanks Jen. I'll try to get a hold of The Gost and the Goth. =)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I'm laughing so hard Carina. I just picked up The Ghost and the Goth (The Ghost and the Goth, #1) by Stacey Kade Queen of the Dead (The Ghost and the Goth, #2) by Stacey Kade and was going to read the first one after I finished Passion (Fallen, #3) by Lauren Kate . We've been on this weird reading wavelength lately.

Jen (jennifer_ashmy) | 245 comments Your welcome, Carina :)

Stacia, yay for The Ghost and the Goth (The Ghost and the Goth, #1) by Stacey Kade that book got me out of my reading funk. I can't wait to read Queen of the Dead (The Ghost and the Goth, #2) by Stacey Kade . Btw, what do you think of the Fallen series by Lauren Kate, do you like it? I just bought all 3 books because they were on sale for such a good price, but no one I know has read them yet.

message 7562: by Isamlq (new)

Isamlq The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer wasn't bad... :) Im reading Thyla by Kate Gordon now, yay me! :)

Hey Jen, the Fallen series is nice although the first two books do tend to drag. you cant help loving the characters tho.

message 7564: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Jul 04, 2011 11:59PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I didn't like Fallen much at all. It was a 2 star read for me. The ending was the only thing that had me on the hook to read the second book. I liked the second book better story wise (3.5 stars), but missed not having as much Cam. The third one is okay so far, but not as good as the second book. I'm not as fond of the style change.

Thanks Reenz. That's good to know :) I was looking at reviews for them yesterday and I read something similar about the characters, that like, you can't help to want to know what happens to them.

Thanks Stacia. I'm really hoping that I like some aspect of the story now that I own the books. I'm just gonna read them with in open mind and hoping that I at least find one character that I can root for, so that if I really dislike the story, I at least keep on reading to know what happens with the character, that I'm hoping to love, lol. I don't know if that makes sense, but yea :)

Thanks guys for sharing your thoughts about the series with me. I kinda feel better about reading them now.
