Catherine wrote: "*sob* season finale of Supernatural all in one day? I don't know if my heart can take it..."I'm actually watching that right now. I couldn't see it yesterday so I recorded it on my dvr.
I decide to force(Yes, I said FORCE) my self to read some books that I had on hold at the library. I picked up: The Awakening
, Take Me There
, Anna and the French Kiss
, Her and Me and You
and Bitten
.I think I'll read Anna first and then go from there. I hope this slaps me out of my reading funk *cautiously hopefull*
Isn't it weird that so many of us are in a reading funk. There must be something in the water. @Carina, I read your review on Broken and that looks interesting. Been awhile since I read something steamy :-)

Yeah, it is! I just finished it and I loved it.
@Alison If you read Broken, I hope you like it. It is definetly super stemy, but the story it self is really great.@Isa I kept seeing Take Me There around so when I saw it at the library I picked it up. I hope its good.
I also saw Bumped at the library and was gonna get it but decided to do it next time. Hope you like it though.
Just finished
, and it was fantastic!! Really inspirational, and so sweet..! Now for
! Which I read years ago, but wanted to read again while I wait for my Library book to arrive :D!!
I'm reading
. I'm not in a reading funk, thank goodness. I like to choose books by the cover (please don't throw things at me). I don't even read what they are about most of the time, which makes it so fun. Huntress really shocked me and I had to read the summary after I was 50 or so pages in b/c it doesn't follow the usual YA formula.

I gave BUMPED another go, and finshed it in a blink... it was the first part that bored me.... thereafter, it was quite good... :)
Isa I'll have to try it one of these days then =)In the mean time I'm reading The Awakening
, in my effort to force my 'reading mojo' to return already!
Thanks, Catherine, glad you enjoyed it. I gave up on
and started
Got totally hooked on wings straight away. Although I can see straight off why in the Movies thread there is so much dislike for Miley playing Laurel. How on earth do they think that that's a good match??

Debra wrote: "Catherine wrote: "Finished

It's really good! I recommend it to anyone. Every one ends with a cliffhanger, so really it's kind of like one continuous book. I think it's different than most YA vampire.... But that's just me.
I've just finished Clockwork Angel by Cassandra ClareIt's absolutely brilliant, as are TMI, and I especially love Will!
Debra wrote: "I totally enjoyed Wicked Lovely. It was my first Faire Folk book I read. I'll probably read more of the books at some point, but not right now.
Carina, I'm liking GoT, but have to say that watching the show first has helped a LOT with understanding what's going on because there are SO many different rotating viewpoints. I may not have liked it as much if I hadn't seen the show first.
Also going to be reading
. I've heard nothing but great things about this author. It seems like most people give her books 4 and 5 stars, so I'm excited.

While Miley is more teenage rebellion pop start BRUNETTE. Haha, so yea i don't know how on Gods green earth why the movie people feel that Miley would be a great Laurel...?
Wow, you're on a roll Catherine. I love it when I find a series that I can't stop reading, so I know how you must be feeling =)
Carina wrote: "Wow, you're on a roll Catherine. I love it when I find a series that I can't stop reading, so I know how you must be feeling =)"lol I know! I love it too. I had already read the first three books, but got involved with other books. One of my friends is reading the series, so when I finished all of my challenges this month & the group read, I decided to start reading Morganville again with her. She's on Kiss Of Death & I'm trying to catch up. It's not going to happen though. lol
Not gonna happen?? By the looks of it, you'll probably leave her behind! lolI have to add this series to my to-read again...

lol Well thanks for having faith in me! lol
Word of advice: Read The Vampire Diaries book first before the TV series. I've noticed a lot of people didn't like the books after watching the show.

I read the first one right before the show started, because I always like to read the book before the movie/TV show & I just couldn't get into it. I've had the second book for about two years & haven't even touched it. Do they get better as they go along?
@Catherine I agree. VD was sort of my first books so I just kept on reading and reading. When the shadow souls came out, I was tempted to put it on hold. But, for me, i liked the first four books.Oh yeah, there's a new TV series, The Secret Circle. It is actually a book turned into a show and the book's written by L.J. Smith.
Britnee wrote: "@Catherine they don't. The books are nothing compared to the series :/"OK. Good to know. I'll probably only ever read it if I'm out of other things to read... And I don't see that ever happening.

Yeah I honestly don't recommend them at all.
Since I'm saving my money and can't buy new books (mental breakdown), I'm re-reading some books I have at home. Finished
yesterday, now I'm going to finish
:D
