Courtney K (cklueh) While I'm back on the wait list for The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #1) by Carrie Ryan and The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown , I'm reading Ever by Gail Carson Levine . I've loved all the other books I've read by her. I saw a P.C. Cast book that wasn't HON on the new shelf. It's supposed to have scary vampires in it.

And it only gets better. You know how I feel about Succubus Heat and that office scene. I really need to bump that rating to 5 star if I'm still thinking about it.

Get ready to have your mind blown at the end of Faefever.

message 7056: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) And the start of dreamfever

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Hope to finish up First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones and The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan in the next day or so and then start Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry, #2) by Simone Elkeles

message 7058: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) How is First Grave Stacia?

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I'm liking it so far. She's the grim reaper, which is kind of different.

Jen (jennifer_ashmy) | 245 comments I finally finished reading City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare and at the beach of all places, lol. Not what you would necessarily consider your light beach read, I think :D

But now I have no idea what I am going to start reading next *bites nails*, thanks to my book buying compulsion...
These are my following options:

Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2) by Cassandra Clare Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy, #5) by Richelle Mead Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) by Rachel Hawkins or A Great and Terrible Beauty (Gemma Doyle, #1) by Libba Bray

Any suggestions? :)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) No problem, just let me know if you get one with bad formatting, like missing chapters or something. There's a few I need to replace, but I never remember which ones.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Still plan on reading Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry, #2) by Simone Elkeles and will also be working on A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I know you've read some of the YA ones I'd normally rec. Would you go adult or are you looking for innocent cute?

If you want to stay YA, I'd say...

Dark Guardians series (the covers are cheesy but the books are cute and light with a sweet romance) Moonlight (Dark Guardian, #1) by Rachel Hawthorne

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Crap, had to come back and edit. You read that other one too, hah.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Isamlq wrote: "I just finished , now on ... when does the sixth book come out? [boo..."

August. About a week after Bloodlines I think. I know that I'm buying 3 Mead books in August.

Now I'm curious to see if you'll like Georgina or Dark Swan better as a series. I still like Georgina better, but some people prefer Dark Swan. They're both good though.

message 7082: by Liss (new)

Liss (LissFields) | 100 comments I'm looking for anything that will draw me in.I'm having a bit of a reading funk :( I've been dragging with finishing my books :/ that's usually when im in the need for something cute and light (both adult and innocent are good )

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) If you'd go adult, this whole series has a lot of humor but still has a great romance in every book.
Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, #1) by Lisa Kleypas

I LOVED the HON. The first 4 books were awesome. I was good until I got to Tempted. NOTHING happened literally until the last chapter of the book. I only was able to complete it because I was stuck in urgent care for 3 hours. I bought Burned and hadn't picked it up. Cast is a good author so I am sure that the story is still good. I honestly just got to the point where I said "I don't care anymore" I really could care less about these people and their lives anymore. I even went in to Barnes&Noble when Awakened came out and picked it. The first thing I did was turn to the back to see if it was the last book. Not surprised, it wasn't. All I could do is walk away shaking my head. I usually try to stick with Trilogys or so for that reason unless the keep me interested like The Mortal Instuments, My Blood Approves, etc. I wish I was still interested in HON because it was the second series I read to get into reading after Twilight. Kinda makes me sad.

I know!! I am only on like chapter 4 because of time restraints I haven't been able to read much. But oh yes, I'm loving it. I have heard some really mixed reviews of Mockingjay. I hear people either love it or hate it and not much in between.
