Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I also just realized that it's morning time where Jessica is. What club is she going to in the morning?

Anyway, I'm logging in a sec. Gonna go read or something. Take care.

Alison | 234 comments Carina, What's Forbidden about? Sounds very intriguing if a book can have that much of an affect on your emotions, I'm curious now.

And may I just say YAY!!! Last day of tax season tomorrow. I can return to the land of the living again *whoops & hollars*

Oh and you guys have to read STOLEN..

Im reading In a Heartbeat by Loretta Ellsworth right now.. a little slow but i must see it through. :)

message 6662: by Carina (new)

Carina @Alison Forbidden has an incest topic, so if you're not comfortable with that then I dont recommend you read it. Otherwise its an amazing book. A-ma-zing...

@Stacia and Isa I will be starting with Eternal Rider today cause last night I bought Comfort Food for my kindle and ended up stating/finishing that one. I loved it and I'm pretty sure you guys would love it (or at least like it) too!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I just finished Comfort Food and logged on to review it and laughed when I saw that you had just finished it! The book was an intense and disturbing read, but very interesting.

message 6664: by Carina (new)

Carina It was very controversial, but I really liked it. I'm enjoying all these controversial books we're reading, I'll probably read Stolen once I finish my 2 current reads =)

message 6665: by Courtney (last edited Apr 18, 2011 02:37PM) (new)

Courtney K (cklueh) Reading Vixen (Flappers, #1) by Jillian Larkin . It is so far from what I normally read and I really like it. I just finished Goth Girl Rising by Barry Lyga . It was the first book I've read where I identified with both the teen (so me when I was that age) and the parent (please don't let my son be like me when I was that age).

I'm going to read The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl by Barry Lyga next b/c I liked Goth Girl Rising so much.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I hope to get to Vixen soon. Glad to hear that you liked it. I'm wondering if I'll like it as much as Bright Young Things (Bright Young Things, #1) by Anna Godbersen , which I really enjoyed.

message 6667: by Courtney (new)

Courtney K (cklueh) Oh, Stacia. I forgot about that one. I checked it out as an ebook and never got around to reading it (the 2 week check out is a killer). You have to let me know how they compare.

Book Sushi (BookSushi) | 97 comments im about 2/4 through Midnight (The Vampire Diaries The Return, #3) by L.J. Smith and just started A Touch of Dead (Sookie Stackhouse 11) by Charlaine Harris .

i recently saw that they are adding yet another book to the whole Vampire Diaries, a new sub series called Phantom (The Vampire Diaries The Hunters, #1) by L.J. Smith i think they actually need to give it up. they are seriously ruining a decent series with already having the stupid Return sub series. they are basically riding the coattails of the TV series and trying to make money off of the Young Adults / Teens that have caught onto the series. unbelievable.

Joan{missing the vampire bunny slippers!} (joan3000) | 100 comments Reenz wrote: "the tv series is fine, its the books that need to come to an end."

Absolutely!!! It started like a nice book series and then they started to ruin it. I mean seriously how many times does Elena have to die to keep it interesting? I started Midnight (The Vampire Diaries The Return, #3) by L.J. Smith and I can't wait for it to end so I can read something new! Anyway the whole Damon-Stephan-Elena thing has gone a little too far in my opinion. What else are they gonna do anyway...?

I'm just at the 2nd chapter but it looks promising already, sort of has that Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms Trilogy, #1) by Kristin Cashore and Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce feel to it. :)

Just started. Only a few pages in. I'm almost sad because once this is done there will be no more Mead books until August, but at least then I get 2 series books at once.

the whole Kitsune thing has just been dragged on way too much!! im trying to push through as quickly as i can. im just over half way through! I cant believe how pathetic and weak they portray Bonnie in the book. i prefer the TV version of her, much stronger and feisty.
