@Stacia, so far so good... it's cute :)

Woah!! I totally forgot that was today! If I dont get it later, my sister should.. so I should still be able to read it :)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I just pre-ordered it and that kind of hurt. 15 bucks...I rarely pay more than 10 for a new release. I probably could have waited a few days and waited for someone to share it, but want to read it asap.

Only 10 bucks for a new freaking release!? You realize that is so cheap right DDD:

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I don't know what the conversion is between U.S. and your currency. For all I know 10 bucks could be like 50 bucks where you are.

message 6157: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) 10 bucks here is like £6 lol. So you're getting a good deal in pounds lol

message 6158: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Getting a good deal NZD as well!! Its like 12-15 bucks!!

Oh good, we can compare notes on Fallen Blade. That's on my upcoming for the next couple of weeks.

About 50 pages into

Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #9) by J.R. Ward and I'm already liking it so far!

message 6164: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Wait what? I'm re-reading it.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I know. How's it goin?

message 6166: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I dunno I haven't started it yet. The way I'm going I won't have my re-read done before CoFA

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I gave up on it, like I do with every other series re-read that I swear I'm going to do.

Mayyyybe before the next Infernal Devices book comes out I'll read all 4 MI books and CA. Probably not, but there's a chance I'll actually want to refresh by then. It still feels like the books are too new for me to want to re-read them all right now.

message 6168: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I still like Jem better than Jace. Just a little bit. I dunno why.

Yeah but how long ago did you read TMI? I read it so long ago that its like I'm reading it for the first time again.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) It's showing that I added the trilogy back in July, but that was when I had just joined GR. I'm guessing maybe a month or two before that, so about a year ago.

message 6171: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Ah. I think I read around 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. I hardly read at all last year so it was def 2009

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I'd have to check when CoG came out because I think I might have started reading the trilogy right before CoG was out. Time is not my friend right now. I can't remember.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Oh wow. CoG was published two years ago, so maybe it has been that long. I had no idea. I added books in one big list when I joined GR, so I associate everything as "read right before joining," but I guess that's not entirely the case.

message 6174: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Actually. If i don't get to re-read CoG before CoFA I'm just gunna read it after it.

Wow its been that long? Hm. No wonder I can hardly remember.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I may read the last few chapters of CoG to get a refresh and to recap that scene with Magnus and Tessa at the end. I hope Tessa shows up in CoFA. I'm pretty sure Camille is going to.

message 6176: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Yeah I think she said Camille is going to.

Hex Hall is so much fun. :)

Isamlq wrote: "YAY!!! I finally got my copy! :) ..."

Oh good! I'm loving the book so far! It might end up being my favorite of the series if the ending is any good. There's not really any lesser stuff in the book yet, which is nice.

I just laughed at this person's status :

I hate everyone who is reading Lover Unleashed right now and making updates. You all are effing teases!

message 6182: by Carina (new)

Carina Well Stacia, I have to agree with that persons status. TEASES!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) The book is looong though. Over 400 pages. At least it hasn't been boring, but I doubt I'll finish it today.

message 6184: by Jen (new)

Jen (jennifer_ashmy) | 245 comments I'm glad to read good things about Hex Hall in this thread ^^
It's one of the several books I've bought recently :)

Jen (jennifer_ashmy) | 245 comments It's great to see you guys say that about Demonglass too. I trust your guy's opinions because everything you've recommended so far has turned out great. I've seen some off reviews about Demonglass and i was just hoping that it wasn't true since I plan on reading and buying it, anyway. So it's comforting to see you guys like it, yay! lol (:

message 6192: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Mar 29, 2011 10:41PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) @ Jen,

Hex Hall had more humor in it, but Demonglass was a better story the whole way through. Hex Hall took a few chapters for me to warm up to it. Not that it started boring or anything, it just didn't start getting "fun" until about midway through. Either way, I think both books are definitely worth the read. I'm actually surprised more people in this group haven't read it. I'm in another YA group full of people who aren't very fond of PNR and they are all over this series with lots of love, which is sort of cute, since most of them avoid PNR like the plague.

Isamlq wrote: "happy dance for BDB plus a lot of other things over the week for me :)..."

Please tell me you're going to be reading the new Horsemen of the Apocalypse series, the one that Ione is writing. I am hoping it's going to be good, and only know a few people so far that are picking it up this month. It would be fun to have someone else to talk about it with.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Lordy! I'm just past the halfway mark and I thought I was booking it tonight when I told my husband I was going to lounge around and read instead of watching a movie.

*cough* Georgina Kincaid.

Sorry. Had to.

As soon as I finish BDB I'll finish up the first Guild Hunter book, then I need to hit up some epic fantasy and steampunk. I gotta de-PNR for a minute.
