Char (CharmaineElaine) Micki wrote: "What is Strange Angels about? and is Hex Hall good?"

Micki, Strange Angels is about a girl who travels with her dad but then her dad gets turned into a zombie and then people start trying to kill her (Can't really go into why without giving any spoilers away). You should definitely read it. It's one of the best series's out there IMO.

Isamlq Micki wrote: "What is Strange Angels about? and is Hex Hall good?"

@Mikki, HEX HALL is good... it's a quick and funny read. The protag Sophie, is very relatable. I'm with Brit and Charmaine on STRANGE ANGELS, you shoud give it a try.

I'm reading Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler AND Lord of the Fading Lands (Tairen Soul, #1) by C.L. Wilson right now. I've got a feeling that it's going to take me awhile as I'm shifting genres again... but I'm quite excited about it. :)

message 5909: by Alison (new)

Alison | 234 comments Just finished Lover Revealed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #4) by J.R. Ward and after my much needed break after Fever I plunged back into The Iron King (Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa and it worked. I am enjoying it more this time around :-) Yay!

message 5910: by Alison (new)

Alison | 234 comments Been so busy with work this past week, I missed a couple of days here. Looks like a missed a pretty interesting conversation. Kuh! that always happens to me... Day late and a dollar short :-)

Obviously the nosey parker in me is intrigued by all the deleted posts you mention. Did you guys really get all that steamy?? No...surely not! LOL!

message 5911: by Brittany Kimler (new)

Hex Hall is a fun book, very full of wit and snark.

@ Isa,

Yay Tairen Soul!

Just finished Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins . You and my other friend Wendy were right, the book is so good! I gave it 5 stars just because it felt fresh and real. And I loved St. Clair (of course).

Read this one people! It's such a FUN book!

Jen (jennifer_ashmy) | 245 comments @ Stacia : It's good to hear you liked Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins . I mean, I'm not big on realistic fiction but man this one gets amazing reviews everywhere. Definitely adding to my TBR pile :)

I'm not big on realistic fiction either unless it comes highly recommended. Give me sci-fi, fantasy, pnr, or a historical anyday. I like being in someone else's world, not the real one. This book just had me caught up in a good mood, so I loved it.

message 5917: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I like realistic fiction I used to read it all the time a few years back. And since you like that book so much I might read it

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) And I will have to read perfect chemistry.

@Stacia, ALL RIGHT!!!! Don't you just love St. Clair? That was such a sweet book. And I cant wait for it's companion book later this year I think.

@Carina, I really liked Valek(?) in Poison Study.

I'm already liking what little I've read of Tairen... I need to pick up my pace! :) But shifting into it after all those YA contemps (I am a fan) is hard. :)

Uuuu been there, very frustrating.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Maybe she needs a light, fun book. I won't say which one but yeah...

Yup thats what I do when I get stuck in the mud. Intense and Drama filled books, can be very draining. So I try to sneak in something different from time to time. And its about time I did that too, now that I think about it...

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Scroll up. I'm pimping one at the moment.

message 5936: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Mar 19, 2011 03:22PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) And it's in my individual book folder (page 2 or 3 iirc) if you're looking for it.

brittany (cirilla) Carina wrote: "Anna and the French Kiss??"

I want to read that. One day

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Yep. It's up at the link I sent you way back when if you want it Carina. It's not a series, so it's in with the individuals.

I continue to sigh at you Britnee. Don't you get an allowance or something? It's not hard to find a cheap piece of crap ereader for a few bucks at random stores. At least that way we could get you hooked up with some stuff.

message 5941: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Well. I'm saving the money I have. And e-readers are really expensive here. I'm fine reading on the computer but I get too distracted.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I have a hard time watching a movie while at the computer. Books would kill me.

If I end up purchasing another ereader at some point, I'm just going to mail you mine with all the books loaded onto it.

message 5943: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Eh. I'm used to it. I used to spend 12 hours a day watching anime on here.

If it would even work here lol

message 5944: by Carina (new)

Carina Definetly gonna try Ana and T... I think April is gonna be my Realistic Fiction month. Lots of books I've wanting to try and its about time I got around to it =)

Me too! I'm in a realistic fic mood..probably why Ink Exchange is pissing me off so much. I'm gunna try that DUFF book you like

It would if I kept the account in my name. You'd just probably have to get a converter for charging it.

Doubt I'll get another one any time soon though. I just got my second one for my bday in Feb.

message 5947: by Carina (new)

Carina *Jumps from chair and does geeky happy dance*

The DUFF does look cute.

I keep saying I don't read realistic but I have to read

Nevermore by Kelly Creagh and Overprotected by Jennifer Laurens to finish out one of my last reading challenges for the year before I quit out on doing any more.

message 5949: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) @Stacia Oh right lol.

@Carina ya Meg uploaded it for me! I'm really excited to read it..

message 5950: by Carina (new)

Carina @Stacia I want to read Nevermore too, it sounds really good. But I'll wait till the sequel comes out. Oh, and yeah, The DUFF is really good. Now be a good girl and add it to you to-read pile...Do it!

@Britnee I get nervous when someone is gonna read a book I love that isn't that popular. I'm always hoping people like it, cause if they don't, I kinda feel responsible =/
