brittany (cirilla) Haha I know xDD. I will eventually get round to finishing the series.

But for now I'm reading me some Vlad!!

message 5402: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Feb 28, 2011 10:11PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) BDB, White Cat, Shifters and Night Huntress. My head is exploding from the goodness! I almost wish I could wipe my mind and go back and read all of those books for the first time. :)

@ Alison,

4 stars is what I gave it too because of my love for Rhage (wowza). I skimmed all of the lesser parts in the first few books, so don't feel bad because I only wanted to read about the couples too! Once Lash comes into power you might want to start reading the lesser sections, but until then, you're not missing anything by jumping ahead to the romance parts. After all, we're reading it for the hot vamp guys anyway, right? :p

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Uh, Isa if you see this, please tell me that The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness gets less painful to read. I know that everyone who reads the series seems to love it, so I'll keep plugging away, but I feel like I'm having to read 10 pages at a time right now because it's going slow.

Also starting (yes I lied about saying I wouldn't get it on release day, but it wasn't an intentional lie, haha) Demonglass (Hex Hall, #2) by Rachel Hawkins

brittany (cirilla) Just finished The Goddess Test (Goddess Test, #1) by Aimee Carter

message 5405: by Timmysparks (new)

Timmysparks | 1637 comments Reading Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning The previous book ended in such a cliffy that I'm so anxious to get this started.

Even bigger cliffy at the end of this one!! Love this series.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Oh YEAH. Love the first few chapters of that book. I'll never think of the song tubthumping the same way again.

message 5408: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) *Snort* lolol. I actually forgot about the first few chapters.

message 5409: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Mar 01, 2011 12:06AM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) How do you forget Barrons dancing naked? He's such a stern guy that the fact he managed to loosen up was so much fun.

Is that a spoiler? I don't really think it's much of one, is it?

message 5410: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Mar 01, 2011 12:07AM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Sigh...Fever talk makes me happy. I miss the books so much. Just saw that the new story/graphic novel isn't coming out til 2012. That seems so far away, especially since that's coming out before the spin-off.

message 5411: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Haha true.

Awww D:

@Stacia! Plug away... I was bored brainless the first couple of chapters (yes, chapters not pages! lol!) until this really cool bit that made me want to read on and on and on. The eye dialect got to me at first, but I got used to it. (view spoiler)

and Demon Glass... I did not know it was released today!

@Carina, How's Alpha going?

@Brit,Timipre, *woot* Barrons and Vlane (nom nom nom.. yummy!)

And I'm reading The Struggle (The Vampire Diaries, #2) by L.J. Smith I'm a little disappointed by how these books are going... :(

message 5413: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (bexsi) I've finished Wuthering Heights Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë Everything about this book makes it makes it truly brilliant. 5 stars
Midnight Sun Midnight Sun (Twilight, #5) by Stephenie Meyer I loved the story from Edwards point of view. 5 Stars
Hush, Hush Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick The storyline certainly keeps you interested, but i personally found it hard to read. 3 stars
My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding (Includes Dark-Hunter, #9.1; Sookie Stackhouse, #6.1) by P.N. Elrod There is not enough here that stands out, Maybe it's a case of trying to cram too many authors in to one book. 3 stars
A Great and Terrible Beauty A Great and Terrible Beauty (Gemma Doyle, #1) by Libba Bray The writing was gorgeously elaborate great, but sometimes so elaborate I didn't actually know what was going on. 3 stars
and I have started Glimmerglass Glimmerglass (Faeriewalker, #1) by Jenna Black Bloody Tower: The Diary of Tilly Middleton, London 1553-1559 Bloody Tower The Diary of Tilly Middleton, London 1553-1559 (My Story) by Valerie Wilding and Slave to Sensation Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling #1) by Nalini Singh

message 5414: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) @Isa Right!!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Demon Glass has already started so much better than Hex Hall did. I hardly had any time to read today and managed to get about 25% through the book in about 45 min. It's already fun.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Oh, snap, just realized that the month flipped over.

Hunger Games and Halfway to the Grave. Two very good books! Read em both!

Ditto!

Amy ~Lover of Books~ Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver (it is going slow for me at the moment)

The Candidates (Delcroix Academy, #1) by Inara Scott (a little more fast paced than the other book and I almost done with it too)

message 5419: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) @Amy Delirium gets better.

Amy ~Lover of Books~ Britnee is Britnee wrote: "@Amy Delirium gets better."

I hope so because a lot of people said Matched was so good and when I read it, it wasn't as good as everyone said.

message 5421: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Mar 01, 2011 03:18PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Matched wasn't that great (I liked it okay but wasn't thrilled by it either). I think a lot of the early reviews/arc reviewers jumped all over it, but once it was released, we started seeing differing opinions.

Didn't read Delirium yet though so I'm not making a comparison, but I think Brit liked Delirium and wasn't as crazy about Matched, right?

message 5422: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Delirium is a lot better than matched in my opinion. The ending is just OH MY. And I dunno, Lauren is such a great writer. it starts getting really good around half way through.

message 5423: by Carina (new)

Carina Im still undecides on my March reads, but I'll be reading (for sure) River Marked (Mercy Thompson #6) and Dark Lover (BDB #1), and if I like BDB I'll probably keep reading that series =) (I think Im gonna put of the Darkest Powers books for another time...)

@Britnee Lauren Oliver is a great author, I havent read Delirium(yet!) but Before I Fall was brilliant!

@Isa Shifters is AWESOME! Im about 80% done with Alpha (Shifters #6), and I totally get why Stacia said we are HIT with a ton of info. Everything, and I mean everything, that could have gone wrong HAS gone wrong and I sincerely have no idea how she's gonna wrap it all up!

message 5424: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) @Carina Right! You should read delirium its amazing. I need to read before i fall

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) So I'm doing a little happy dance about Demonglass. I'm already liking it so much better than Hex Hall, and I liked HH just fine. Almost done with it, and it's been a fun read the whole way through.

message 5426: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I'm not finding TSOTG as good as the others but its still good.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I liked it just fine. After everyone saying it wasn't as good as the others, I was a bit nervous, but found myself enjoying it. I think book 3 was my least favorite and that one still got 4 stars.

message 5428: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I'm reading chapter 21 right now. Then again haven't seen much Vlad yet. I enjoy him more than Cat and Bones now.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Just in case you all were interested.

How To Marry a Millionaire Vampire (Love at Stake, #1) by Kerrelyn Sparks is free for Kindle and Nook right now.

Ew. Will.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Shush. Will and Jem are both hot.

message 5435: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I don't care if Will is hot because he is but hes a jerk! And i don't care if hes a tortured soul so is my dog.

message 5436: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) He needs a kick in the nads.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I don't even want to know why you brought your dog into this.

brittany (cirilla) Two dogs live here but i refuse to claim either of them as mine.

message 5443: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) I don't even own a cat...my dad doesn't like pets. He believes all animals belong outside. I happen to disagree with that statement especially about dogs, and house rabbits!

message 5444: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I want a cat! I had a cat. I think it ran away or died. I want a rabbit too! And a Lion!

message 5445: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) My friend has 8 cats and 2 dogs. I want a house rabbit but can't have one until I move out and get my own place which is taking longer than I want!

message 5446: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) I want a chinchilla cat (They're beautiful) and a lop eared bunny. I'm calling them evil names.

message 5447: by Jess (new)

Jess (jess_readsromance) I'm going to call my bunny Jasper :) lol

What will you call them?

message 5448: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Maleficent and something else. Sephiroth.

message 5449: by Jess (new)
