The Shifter series is GREAT!! The story line is just amazing, however, I did get annoyed by Faythe soooo many times!
The book made me cry ALOT aswell!! I was shocked when tears where streaking down my face! Its a must read!

Is it me, or are the Vamp Diaries books totally different from the TV show? (btw.. I've only seen a couple of episodes...)

@Carina, by the end of SHIFTERS I was seriously wondering why there wasn't a seventh book (I wanted more..) but Stacia said there's a spin off... so 6 books was OK!

Sorry, I was gone for a day and a half. We went out of town and stayed at a hotel because we took the older kid and a friend to a linkin park concert (well they got to go...we got the consolation prize of dinner and a movie, heh).

I'd honestly say skip Darkest Powers. It's okay but the third book was sort of a letdown for me. It was just more of the same thing that happened in the first two books.

If you're in the mood for something a little steamier, I'd say go for either BDB or Hathaways. BDB is more edgy, Hathaways is more witty & fun.

I have a love/hate thing with The Luxe. I love the storycrafing and Henry/Diana, but the last book ended sort of melancholy. I still think it's worth reading the series because it's so beautiful, but it takes a toll on your emotions. Since you just had to go through some of that with Prey, I'd almost wait on this one.

Poison Study is a great book (haven't read the rest yet), not all that far off or different from a Graceling type of book, so it depends if you're in the mood for a fantasy or not.

I also hope you get the chance to read Georgina Kincaid at some point. It's sort of slow starting like the Fever series is, but I grew to love the books from about number 3 on. I like that there's a little bit of guessing with this one like there was in Fever, too. Plus book 4 has one hooooot scene.

Oh, and Carina, book 4 of Shifters and Faythe's emotional betrayal was something I liked because I was waiting for that moment. *grin*

Just finished and I'm now onto . The only reason I didn't give Eternal 5 stars is that I'm just not being kept interested with the whole lesser thing. I ended up paging through those bits. But Hot Diggity if the whole romance between Rhage and Mary wasn't enough. Phew that woman can write romance!!! :-)
