I've got to butt in now because I'm swamped Hi Joanna!!!! Pm me if u need shadow fever :)
@Meg, Shifters was wonderful... I started them because of Stacia :)
@Brit, I loved Graves in strange angels... Unibrow and all...
@Carina, hope youre loving Catching Fire!!!
I'm currently reading the 'Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde and 'The Harsh Cry of the Heron' by Lian Hearn. So far,so good... ;)
Carina wrote: "@Esra Lots of action you said?? I might have to give that series a go!"if you like paranormal romance genre you should read. it's funny , very smooth , and a lot of steamy scenes :P lot of hot guys =) I'm really enjoying it
Oh my gosh, we NEED a Shifters topic! I'm so close to the end. But, bummed that there's only six books in the series. Is she gonna write more?
I have finished Beauty: A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast. Robin McKinley
This book is a true gem, and I would recomend it to anyone, of any age. 4 starsVampire, Interrupted
Besides Thomas who's book I was disappointed with Maguerite was the one other character in Lyndsey Sands Argeneau novels that I most wanted to read about. The best yet 5 starsBloodsucking Fiends
I was disappointed with fool but I thought i would give this book a try and was glad I did. 5 Starsand I have started Wuthering Heights
and Midnight Sun
I think I'd like Fever so much more if it were a bit more comprehensive. I started to read Bloodfever, but flipped through like eight pages of key terms and then put it down because I was sort of intimidated.
@Meghann I felt the same way but it really is worth the read.(Even if you feel a little less smart, like I did. lol)
I'm glad I'm not the only one! I thought it'd be a simple page or two, but I just kept flipping through and my eyes were just getting wider like O.O 'Nooooo!' LOL!I think I might try again once I finish the Shifters series, since I've heard everyone (You, Stacia, Joanna, Isa, etc. LOL) rave about it.
Carina wrote: "Its defineltly worth the slight headache from figuring out words and phrases! lol"I don't think I ever noticed really lol cuz I just whizzed through them.
@Britnee The first 2 books were the ones that I noticed. After that I kinda raced through them too! =)
Carina wrote: "@Britnee The first 2 books were the ones that I noticed. After that I kinda raced through them too! =)"Haha It took me AGES to read darkfever. And then after bloodfever I was obsessed!!
S wrote: "So I'm reading Darkfever and I'm on chapter nine, it's moving slow for me."Darkfever is like an intro into the series. The pace picks up about halfway through. I'm at the 3rd book, Faefever now and its really good.
I think it might be since it's so world-building, you know? There's a lot of information they're throwing at you. But, I've heard from a lot of people that the payoff's good. Stick with it, and let us know what you think. :D
We've already said it probably a hundred times by now but plleeeaase don't judge the Fever series based on book 1. Book 1 is a lot of world building. Each book gets better and better and better. Books 3 and 4 are great, and book 5 is perfection.
Stacia, when I 1st read your name I thought it said Stacia ~ ran out of latte LOL! Okay I'll go put my glasses on :-)
Too funny Alison. It's supposed to be the word letters, but I think I like latte better.Totally agree Britnee. There's only one thing about SF that bothered me other than the V'lane thing and it was (view spoiler)

Ohh I wanna read that series.

Overall, it's a good book, but it took me a while to actually sit down and read it without jumping onto another book.
If I had to compare it, I'd say it was similar to Hex Hall :)
