Zo is a hot villain in book 2! O.o I don't even know if he's redeemable at all, but I like him anyway.@ Alison,
I definitely plan on trying Midnight Breed. I need to add some adult PNR back into my rotation. I love Urban Fantasy, but sometimes I get tired of 3 or more books of action packed storyline before a couple hooks up. At least with PNR you know there's going to be some sort of interaction within a few chapters.
With the whole Midnight Breed vs. BDB thing, I think what I notice is that it really depends what series you start first. Those who read MB first have a deeper feeling about that one, and those who read BDB tend to prefer it. I'll go in with an open mind and try not to compare too much. I got hung up on that with Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series. The first book was so much like the first book in Rachel Vincent's Shifters series and I found that I preferred Marc and Jace to Clay, and I preferred Werecats to Werewolves, so it sort of ruined Bitten for me.
Just finished
a little while ago. God, does she have like, beer flavored nipples or something? She's got like eight dudes falling at her feet, and she's super plain, awkward and socially retarded.

Carina, I read it and it's completely blew me away. If you have any interest in reading it, you should totally do it.
Thanks Meghann! I loved reading Before I Fall and was wondering if Delirium was good too. Im glad to hear it is!
Right now Im reading

I have to say, I don't understand why authors write really sappy characters that attract loads of hot guys. I mean come on, like that's gonna happen in real life. But then again this is fiction... but you should always make your fiction just a tad believable IMO. Oh Heck I'm rambling again, what do I know? *grins*
Joanna, welcome back I know these guys were getting a bit worried about you. I see you are also in the ranks of us workaholics, not a tax preparer by any chance are you??
PS. on a personal note after getting feedback from my betas and making some revisions I send my manuscript off to the editor next week YAY! uber excited.

I totally see what you are saying Stacia. I was talking to my friend who has already gone through most of my MBS while I'm only 75% through the 1st BDB book *sighs* wish I could read faster. We were discussing that, coz she read the BDB series first.
I'm going to have to check out the shifter series, you guys are always talking about it and it sounds like something I would love.
I'll ask for recommendations as to which one to start in a few years when I've caught up with BDB, NH, and the Iron King series. Gulp.

I read just the prologue and I'm already terrified of another Luxe type ending.Check this out :
I can't remember very many now - although there are three, from that last incandescent summer, whom I resist forgetting. They were all marching toward their own secret fates, and long before the next decade rolled around, each would escape in her own way - one would be famous, one would be married, and one would be dead.

Oh nooo..
Carina wrote: "Oooo please let me know how DELIRIUM is Shia!"Just finished and I thought it was great. I really loved the writing style, especially in the end. Though, a lot of people were probably pissed at the end. I can't wait for the next book. Come on, 2012!
Aaaahhh! Night Huntress is awesome!! Hope you LOVE IT Jess!!!Cat= kickass
Bones= hot, sexy, amazing! <3
I'm liking it already! I've been completely sucked into it. Cat and Bones have amazing banter and I'm sorry but can you say sexual tension? Seriously! Bone has been added to my hot list, but sadly he's been claimed a few times so I just have to admire at a distance.
Awesome Jess!I just finished re-reading books 1-4, and right now Im a little past the middle of Eternal Kiss of Darkness(Night Huntress World 2). Im loving it, well except I just read a part where Bones is a total ass to his Grandsire(you'll learn about him on book 2).
But Im having withdrawals. Im am seriously addicted to this series!! I want to read it again and again and AGAIN!.....

Awesome! Thanks
I think Stacia and I always say this but its true. Darkfever is an ok book, but the rest of the series is amazing! So just keep reading and you will seriously find yourself Hooked!Enjoy!
sigh...Barrons....
Meghann is Much Muchier wrote: "I liked Darkfever okay, what's intimidating is all the lingo!"Someday I hope you get to read the rest of the series. It really gets amazing from book 3 on. The difference between the later books and the first one is like night and day!

And I have to keep saying it! Because some people either really like and enjoy book 1, OR they don't see what all the hype is about and quit before it gets good. I feel the need to have to stress over and over just how good the series is, and I wasn't even that fond of book 1 (I liked it okay but didn't love it). However, most of us that have read Shadowfever (book 5) put it as one of our favorite books of all time.
Ditto. Darkfever was definitely the weakest of the series (even though I really liked it) so yeah the rest of the series is very addictive!
