message 3123: by Kit★ (new)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 612 comments Finished The Girl Who...Fairyland etc. I thought it was pretty good, reminded me very much of an Alice in Wonderland-type story, nonsensical but still making some sense, dream-like and strange, but fascinating. I'll definitely be getting the other books in this set. Dunno what I'm going to do next though...

message 3124: by Steven (new)

Steven Belanger | 53 comments Can someone explain the lack of fanfare about The Wind Through the Keyhole, which I recently finished? Not his greatest, but he's done much worse (::cough:: ROSE MADDER). I though the book-ended writing and the stories, especially the one with good ole Randall Flagg, were compulsively readable.

Wesley Hampton | 4 comments I just finished The Wind Through the Keyhole. I enjoyed it. After reading just a few pages, it felt like I was with old friends again. The Dark Tower saga is one if my favorites, and while it isn't his best work, it was very enjoyable. I hope he keeps finding stories for Roland and his ka-tet.

Maybe because the DT series is over. It's why I haven't read it yet. Can't say I'm all that interested in going back to the middle when I know how it ends storywise and for the characters.
