I finished The People Next Door, I enjoyed it, it was a easy read I'm just about to start 3 books now they are as follows:1.
2.
3.
Lagenia wrote: "I just started Geralds Game"I just finished Gerald's Game. It was not my favorite SK book, but the story was well written and well told. The ending wasn't strong. The book really could have been a short story or novella.
I just got done reading Drood and now I'm going to be reading The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.
Holly wrote: "I just got done reading Drood and now I'm going to be reading The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest."I LOVED the whole The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series!!! Some of my favorite books of all-time! I hope you enjoy it! :)

I've actually been meaning to read this series for quite some time, Kathryn.:) I've heard so many positive reviews!

Thank you.:)
I just finished two books, one I loved, one I did not really enjoyed. I loved Gil's All Fright Diner, especially the characters, but I did not find as great, The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making. Now I'm reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone, which could be better, then reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
Totally forgot that one of the books I submitted to one of the book clubs I'm in one for the March book of the Month. So in addition to The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, I'll also be reading The Book Thief.
I'm reading Hunger Games. Very good Book, can't put it down. I have not read a book like this in a long time that has been this good and I read a lot.
I finished Boy's Life yesterday. It was fantastic, five-stars, buuut.... I still think I liked Swan Song a little better :)I'm waiting for The Midwich Cuckoos to arrive at the library for me, so in the mean time I wanted something quick. I'm reading The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born.
starting up on The Way of Kings Part Two (I absolutely loved the first part ;) )Also reading Aftertime as a snack between meals ;)
Just finished up re-reading The Waste Landsand am now tearing through To Kill a Mockingbird. I haven't read it since High School but am quickly remembering why the book is considered a classic.
Trying to read two books at the same time, The Grays by Whitley Strieber and Origin by J.A. Konrath.
Just finished To Kill a Mockingbird. First time I've read a book that fast in a long time.Think I will start either The Great Lenore or The Way of Kingsnow.
I'm currently reading The Night Circus which I'm thoroughly enjoying! I should be done by this evening.
Diane wrote: "I'm currently reading The Night Circus which I'm thoroughly enjoying! I should be done by this evening."I really enjoyed that. It was very different from anything I've read recently.
Just finished
. There's something about historical fiction that can make me sicker than horror. Some of the torture methods they used to get confessions of witchcraft were worse than anything I've read in a long time!
Kathryn wrote: "I am reading finally,
! Yay!"That's awesome news, Kathryn! I can't wait to hear your thoughts/opinions on this fantastic collection!
I read DRACULAS which was a fun filled gore fest and I also read We Need to Talk About Kevin which was downright chilling. Now I am reading Origin.

Everyone's reading Kevin right now. Even my parents are reading it. I have to get my hands on a copy.
I think "We Need To Talk About Kevin" is the only book in the world I'm NOT reading right now. :P I'm (nominally) reading:
Women and Fiction: Stories By and About Women By Susan Cahill
Les Misérables by Victor Hugo
Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey
Elantris by Brandon Sanderson
& The Enchantress Of Florence: A Novel by Salman Rushdie
All are pretty good, but it would be great if I could finish one! :P
After reading all of your posts about We Need to Talk About Kevin, I have just reserved it at my library. :)I probably won't get it for a while though I think I'm 26th in line for 10 copies.
I started Cycle of the Werewolf this morning, and just finished it. I think my next book, which I'll start tomorrow, will be Fight Club.
I just finished
, Now I am concentrating of reading the last installation of the Harry Potter series,

LOL
Darwin wrote: "Half way through
. Trying to figure out if I am really enjoying it or not."I hate when that happens...Sad to say, but sometimes that forces me to give up on a book and put it down. haha
Jason wrote: "I read it once before but started up reading this one again yesterday, Odd Thomas."Odd is one of my favorite Koontz characters.
If you have to ask whether you're enjoying a book or not that's usually a bad sign lol. Believe me I've been there!

I agree, Odd is a great character, Tracy. He probably is one of Koontz's best creations, IMO.
I also like Jackie from the Frankenstein series Dustin. Considering how he came to be and how he acts is just great.
