I just finished Gerald's Game. It was not my favorite SK book, but the story was well written and well told. The ending wasn't strong. The book really could have been a short story or novella.

Kevin Xu (kxu65) | 219 comments I just finished two books, one I loved, one I did not really enjoyed. I loved Gil's All Fright Diner, especially the characters, but I did not find as great, The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making. Now I'm reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone, which could be better, then reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Holly | 434 comments Totally forgot that one of the books I submitted to one of the book clubs I'm in one for the March book of the Month. So in addition to The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, I'll also be reading The Book Thief.

Diane (ladydi4476) | 72 comments Me too Scott! It's a refreshing change from books I've read and I'm almost sad to finish it.

Library Lady 📚 | 91 comments Just finished The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent . There's something about historical fiction that can make me sicker than horror. Some of the torture methods they used to get confessions of witchcraft were worse than anything I've read in a long time!

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo
Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey
Elantris by Brandon Sanderson

I agree, Odd is a great character, Tracy. He probably is one of Koontz's best creations, IMO.

I haven't read the entire series, so I may be missing something, but are you referring to Jocko?
