She screamed.

Bridget didn't want to throw her knife since she knew once it left her hand it was gone. She knew she wouldn't be able to throw that far so she decided to wait.

Emmett grinned. "Agreed."

Bryant glanced at his watch. "Well the night is over half way over so I say we still have a pretty good chance."

The two leaders sighed and leaned against the wall, motioning the greenies to do the same. "We have something to tell you."

Bryant nodded.
Bridget pulled out the locket and opened it up showing Paizlie and Emmet the picture of the two of them when they were little. "We don't remember anything we swear. We are just as puzzled as you."

Paizlie grabbed his arm, pleading with her eyes for him to calm down. He shook his head.
"It's awful. That's all I'm going to say. Shucking awful."

Paizlie frowned. "He saw things. In the changing. Em, it couldve been some hallucination that the creators are just testing us on."
"It's not like that, okay?!? It was real."
Paizlie looked down at her feet.

"What kind of things?" Bridget asked. She didn't really care if they were real or not. Maybe they would give them some sort of clue.

Bryant decided if the girls were going to keep watch he might as well take advantage and get some sleep. He sat down and leaned against the wall closing his eyes.

Paizlie returned the smile and started walking. "So, you two are siblings?"

Bryant opened his eyes. "What... What is going on?"
Bridget grabbed his arm and pulled him up. "We made it! The doors just opened. Come on!"

Paizlie excitedly nodded her head and grabbed his hand, pulling him out of the maze.
The entire glade was standing there when the doors opened, cheering for them.

Bryant nodded.

"What's wrong with you?!" Paizlie yelled at him.
He didn't look up.
She stood there, tapping her foot until he spoke up. "Paizlie, you wouldn't understand."
"Well sweetie, you might as well be dead if your bestest friend won't even understand." She said, voice simply oozing with sarcasm.
"Maybe.....," Emmett paused. "Maybe you're right."
She shook her head. "You don't mean that."
He sighed and slumped against a tombstone. Paizlie did the same.
"I'm sorry. I was being stupid....I'll just stop." He finally said.
She smiled and they mindlessly drew pictures in the dirt for a moment. A grin broke on Emmett's face.
"So...you like me? Like like me?" He raised his eyebrows and Paizlie laughed pushing him jokingly.
"Nah. That was my panic talking."
"So that kiss was simply....panic?" He nudged her.
"Shut up." That was Paizlie's response as she turned away so he wouldn't see her blush.

Bryant sat down next to Bridget. "Tell me about it."
Bridget sighed "I wonder why Emmett reacted so weird when I said fire. It was just an expression. I think."
Bryant shrugged. "Probably something from his visions."
Bridget lay down. "Ya."
Bryant laid down and went to sleep.

"You wanna hear a secret, Paiz?"
She looked up at him with her big blue eyes.
"I like you, too." He smiled.
She opened her mouth to say something, but before she knew it, they were kissing again.
((Ahaha....sorry. I'm hopelessly romantic.))

Bridget laid down but couldn't get to sleep even though she thought she couldn't run another foot with out passing out from exhaustion. She was to bust wondering what was going on. What they would find if they ever solved the maze and got out. If the maze was even solvable. There were just to many variables. And then there were her own personal worries. Who was she? Why did she have a picture of her and Bryant in her locket? Why had the people who had put her here aloud her to keep the locket? Was it important?
Bridget and Bryant ran back to the cliff wondering why they were going there until it hit them. They smiled. "Now if we can just make it there alive." Bridget said quiet enough that only Bryant would be able to hear.
