Read Around the USA Challenge

Thank you Heather. I was hoping to finish within the year. You are like me with so many to read and not being able to get to them.
I'm at a little over a year and still have some outstanding states. I got some books last month on PBS for some of the states that I still have open, but just haven't gotten to the books yet!

I have run out of room on shelves so I have gone to stacking them up against the wall on top of the shelves. Just toom many books to read. I think everyone has outstanding states. I hope.

Those are three of my open states yet as well. Nothing in the TBR pile for Montana or Vermont, but I do have one for Idaho: Blue Heaven by C.J. Box. Delaware, Utah and the Dakotas are all still blanks, too.

I did find a book for South Dakota. Funeral Food
But North is still a blank. I Might try what Kari suggested Dakota by Martha Grimes.

For Vermont I have a book by a guy whose last name is Jaspersohn. The main character is a former Boston Red Sox player who has become a P.I.

For UT try Natalie Roberts Jenny Partridge books. They're pretty good and you get a few laughs, too.

For RI, I read the Alice Kimberly "Haunted Bookshop" series.

If anyone is looking for NE or SD, I would recommend Lee Childs. I just finished Worth Dying For (NE) and 61 Hours for SD. Not cozies but great mysteries!

It's the only Reacher book I've ever been able to finish. The series just doesn't appeal to me, tho I have lots of other book friends who dearly love the books. Love Lee Child, just not his books!

I haven't read it yet, but it looks good!

I haven't read it yet, but that's what I'm planning on using for WY.

It covers all genre. You, and anyone else, are more than welcome to browse around. Starting at Post #3, most of books for the states are hyperlinked, but I haven't finished them all. You might find something.
Reference Log for Keeping Track of Books for 50 States Challenges
Also, there is another GoodReads Group called "Settings" that is getting quite a bookshelf collection. The states are listed as "usa-alabama" etc. That hyperlink is to the first bookshelf page. Again, with multiple genre.
