We probably just need a light and easy read. I just can't think of any right now. I may read a novella since it looks like I'll be having a light work load today.
Megan wrote: "I hope you have a light work load today! That would really help you be able to read today I think."Well, I'm hiding out again, but haven't been able to read yet. I should be home early enought though, and hopefully get through one book tonight/ tomorrow. Thank goodness 'challenge impaired' is part of the group's name! LOL!
Megan wrote: "Wow girl! You are really plow through! How did you like Shiver? ..."It's the audio books. They help me read a heck of a lot more. And my Kindle and Kindle app on my phone since I can take my books all sorts of places that way.
Shiver was pretty good. I'm getting really tired of the absent parents or parental figures that is so common in YA novels.

I started taking summer classes at my local college so my reading time has gone wayyyyyy down :( I'm so bummed! I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish all the challenges I'm in!
Valorie wrote: "I started taking summer classes at my local college so my reading time has gone wayyyyyy down :( I'm so bummed! They are just reading challenges, nothing bad will happen if you can't finish the challenges you are in! There is definitely no stress with this group- so don't feel bad!! Concentrating on your classes is the most important thing right now.
Valorie wrote: "I started taking summer classes at my local college so my reading time has gone wayyyyyy down :( I'm so bummed! I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish all the challenges I'm in!"I agree with Megan. You'll find a good balance between all your class work and "fun" reading soon. :o)

Ruth wrote: "3.Eight Days to Live: An Eve Duncan Forensics Thriller*** 06/09..."Only a 3-star, huh? Just average? Bummer. I love her Eve Duncan books though I do have to read only a couple at a time then take a break or I get tired of them (mainly I get tired of Eve obsessing. LOL) I have this one in hard cover at home but I have found I do better with these in audio so I am on the waiting list for the audio at the library. I think I'm currently next in line so should get it any day now. Which means I'll have to drop everything else I'm currently listening to to finish it since I know there is probably a long list behind me so I won't be able to renew that one.

3 is a good rating for me -- i liked this one better than the last one - what was it Blood Game? . Ant the reason I liked it better was that it was about Jane not Eve and Joe -Joe by the way REALLY bugged me in BG.

The funny thing is, I took it b/c I was sneezing congested when I got in from work. If I'd taken it as a sleep aid, I'd probably feel like dancing instead of sleeping. Go figure.
Michelle wrote: "The funny thing is, I took it b/c I was sneezing congested when I got in from work. If I'd taken it as a sleep aid, I'd probably feel like dancing instead of sleeping. Go figure."I'm sorry you're congested! Yep, I just needed to get some sleep.
Benadryl has NEVER put me to sleep--wired me so that I was bouncing off the ROOF, but never made me sleepy. But give me any med that says "non-drowsy" on it, and they will knock me out like a light.
