I think I'm going to go with Stormy Weather: A Novel by Paulette Jiles and Stormy Weather: A Novel by Michael Meehan.

Erin, I think she's referring to the idea that the picture on the book should be the same (or almost exactly - correct me if I'm wrong Cynthia). There are "stock images" that multiple people end up using for their different books if they don't want to have custom art done for their covers. Jennifer's website in Message 57 has some perfect examples. I hope that helps :)
There's also:House Rules Jodi Picoult and
House Rules Rachel Sontag
Works perfect for me because I own the Rachel Sontag one and I've been looking for an excuse to read the Jodi Picoult one.

No problem at all!! It is quite genre-specific (historical fiction) but it is a pretty good resource for this task, I think.
:D
How about..The Blind Side of the Heart by Michael C. White
The Blind Side of the Heart by Julia Franck
Would these 2 work for same title? Rising Stars is basically the series name.
(edited to add book titles)

I don't think so, since one is "Born in..." and one is "Born of..."
ETA: Oops, I didn't see that Cynthia had already given this the ok. Sorry!

[bookcover:Born of Fire (The League, #2..."I didn't obviously look at this close enough since it isn't the same it does not count I'm sorry.
Sorry to bother you again, Cynthia, but could you approve some of the books from message 69 on this thread? Thanks!
Cute weblink with the older artwork shown! I figured they would be re-used a lot with the classic novels.I haven't decided what I'll read. I'm on the fence.
Erin wrote: "Ok I am not sure why my other two weren't similar enough so here is a bunch more choices. Please let me know if any of those work!1.

2/3 - Not really but if you can't find anything else I would take them (3 is better than 2)
How about these?

Although I am trying to find a book (but not romance if it can be avoided) to match this cover

This one is a stretch (imo) but I do have this book at least

Sorry no on both of these.
Cait wrote: "Diane (deebotte) wrote: "Would these 2 work for same title? Rising Stars is basically the series name.
which I thought was good. It is a romance if you are not averse to that genre.
Stephanie wrote: "Cait wrote: "Diane (deebotte) wrote: "Would these 2 work for same title? Rising Stars is basically the series name.

uses the same picture too and it's a nice-ish book, good if you like Alice Hofman.

Thanks, not sure i've ever read Alice Hoffman...may look into it..the weird thing about the two I mentioned is that the first sentance of the description was almost the same...similar covers, similar books...not sure if that's good or bad! thanks for the suggestion though, i'll check that one out too.
I know that Cynthia had answered a question on subtitiles but I can't find it now! Sorry Cynthia for asking something you have already answered but how does it work for subtitles? For example I would quite like to use these two: Trespass: A Novel and Trespass. If you look at the front cover of the first one it's just got Trespass in the middle of it as it's title and then A Novel is written in the top right hand cover.

What about subtitles? I planned to read The Red Thread and The Red Thread: A Novel
