For all of us planning to read Nauti and Wild
because we thought it was coming out in early July, I thought I should point out that amazon.com and Jaci Burton's website both claim it's not coming out until early August.
Nita wrote: "N - Night Game by Christine Feehan"Nita, I liked these Feehan books and I hope you will also. I didn't enjoy Dead in the Family as much as the earlier Sookie books, it seemed kind of like an episode in a soap opera to me. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of it.

2/9 done and I've changed some of my original choicesD:

Othena, I went to my to-read list and had the computer sort it in alphabetical order by title. That might help with your tbd's.
What did you think of Dead in the Family? I read it too and I'm curious.

Thanks for letting me know Mollie! I appreciate it. I am interested in reading the series, so I am glad you liked the first one and plan on reading the rest. I will move it up on my tbr pile! :)

My problem is I have too many to choose from :)
Dead in the Family was an okay read for me. It just didn't pull me in like her previous books. I'm hoping that it was just me and I'll like the next one better.
How did you like it?? Hopefully better than me.
I disliked Dead in the Family to the extent that I will not be reading any more of the series...they're not novels, they're soap operas. Any new characters introduced in a book are usually dead by the end of the book, and there's a series of events instead of a plot with a resolution. I don't need a happily ever after, but I do need something resolved.I have 730+ titles on my to-read, and once I sorted them alphabetically by title, I went to the letters I needed and saw from what there was to choose. It worked for me.

I was talking to a friend today and she didn't like it either.I'm going to give her one more book to see if I like the next one any better before I make the decision to stop the series.
*wow* 730 tbr
I only have 250 in my tbr and I had already done the search by letter and had listed some but I don't know if I want to stick to them. I had books that I hadn't listed in my data base and I need to decide about those.
I started reading Ritual Sins (re-read) today for my R. I needed a dose of Anne Stuart.
With 730 in your data base you wouldn't happen to have any "Q's" in there would ya??? I'm doing an alphabet challenge and I'm stuck.
1/9 Read
D: Dark Peril by Christine Feehan
A: Alpha by Rachel Vincent
N: Twice Bitten by Chloe Neill
G: Gentlemen Prefer Succubi by Jill Myles
E: Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeaniene Frost
O: The Only One by Christine Feehan
U: Unbound (Anthology)
S: Sin Undone by Larissa Ione
Othena wrote: "...you wouldn't happen to have any "Q's" in there would ya??? I'm doing an alphabet challenge and I'm stuck."Rachel Lee wrote a good series romance called A Question of Justice (Silhouette Intimate Moments #613) published in December of 1994 that is part of the Conard County series, but it works as a stand-alone. That's my top recommendation, if you can get your hands on a copy. (I tried but I couldn't get a link inserted for the book.)
Does it have to be title? I read historical romances by Julia Quinn and Amanda Quick. I once read a book called Q's Legacy by Helene Hanff that I wouldn't recommend unless you want not to have fun. There was a Dorothy Dunnet book I loved called Queen's Play but you'd need to read The Game of Kings first to get it. Lastly I've marked as to-read an erotic romance by Jess Dee titled A Question of Trust.
Hope that helps...Mollie

thanks for the fast reply. I definetly want to check out A Question of Trust. yeah
thanks again
To answer your question, Mollie. You can use the author's last name, but it's preferred to use the first word of the book title (not counting, 'the','a', etc).
Lady Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "...You can use the author's last name, but it's preferred to use the first word of the book title..."Thanks for clarifying. Othena needed a Q for somebody else's "alphabet challenge", and I don't know the rules for that one.
oops, sorry if I caused any confusion. It's just that I'm doing an alphabet challenge for another group and when I saw that Mollie had 730 in her tbr :) I thought I'd ask for suggestions.
The challenge is to read a book for each letter not counting articles and for "X" there just has to be an "X" in the title somewhere.

Have you chosen your X yet? There's some good stuff with Texas in the title, from Sandra Brown's trilogy to the McKettricks.

7 of 9 done, took a break from the challenge to read Linda Howard’s Death Angel. I think I want to get a better "E", I'll have to give it some thought. I may re-read an earlier Nauti book to polish this challenge off sooner.D –
