C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments Yep. So many greats passing away makes me worry about the new ones taking their place. In movie media so many actors from past generations have had theater work and have left powerful legacies over the years. I won't name names but the new actors leave a lot to be desired in my opinion.

TPBM gets giddy and almost obsessed when a tv show they like is on!

message 7102: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not anymore. Might be an age related phenomenon.

TPBM suspects that Adrian has indeed heard songs by Paul Simon, even though he doesn't know it.

message 7103: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't know about Adrian, but I have a copy of Paul Simon's "Graceland" CD as well as an iTunes MP3 of "The Sound of Silence" when he was playing with Art Garfunkel. Pretty damn good music if you ask me.

TPBM would like to learn how to change a person’s skin color using Photoshop (not for racist reasons, of course, just for fun).

message 7104: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I hadn't thought of it, but I could see it in the context of creating adult comics being fun.

TPBM has used Photoshop Elements.

message 7105: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Well, I have had the program installed on my computer and so I have opened it once to check it out. Messed around a bit and then never opened it again.

TPBM likes Cards Against Humanity.

message 7106: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I am ambivalent / indifferent as I've not heard of them.

TPBM would like to learn to sit still crosslegged.

message 7107: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments No since I've done it a number of times lately and the only thing I've "learned" is that my feet fall asleep. lol. ;)

TPBM will sometimes fobs it surreal to realize the people in the periphery of their lives are getting older

message 7110: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) *find, I think?

I do think about that, but it's not surreal to me.

TPBM would like to try parkour, but are certain they would die.

message 7111: by James (new)

TPBM has appeared on a local news broadcast at some point.

message 7112: by Guy (new)

TPBM finds news coverage to woefully inadequate as a means of understanding what is happening around him or herself.

message 7113: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments It's hard to get a good grasp of the world's news when all that's being reported are stories of celebrities taking selfies and celebrities wearing bad dresses.

TPBM thinks it’s gross that McDonald’s food was engineered never to spoil.

message 7114: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nah, it is just a good business practice.

message 7119: by Novia (new)

Novia Only once. I hated it later. A good hair stylist is hard to find.

TPBM thinks that as long as they're bringing back x-files for a short comeback, they should do the same for firefly.

message 7120: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Don't get me wrong, to see Firefly back would be amazing. They should, but they won't and knowing Fox, even if they did, they'd mess it up.

TPBM has played The Stanley Parable.

message 7121: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I have not.

TPBM hasn't played a video game since the 2nd generation Mario games.

message 7122: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments Actually no. The latest game system I do play I don't get to as often as I'd like to though.

message 7130: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments My week will consist of my usual creative activities, posting a short story to this week's contest among them. Wish me luck!

TPBM doesn’t want to live in the desert because that’s where snakes, scorpions, and tarantulas dwell.

message 7131: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Considering that I'm not a fan of snakes, scorpions, or for that matter, spiders, I don't want to be anywhere near a place that has all that.

TPBM is going to stay up for a majority of the night.

message 7132: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Maybe a few more hours, but that's about it. I'm a night owl, but only because going to bed is boring.

TPBM would refer to an arena full of bored fans as a "necrocosm".

message 7135: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Maybe? I see necrocosm as dead universe. So an arena full of bored fans could make up a dead universe but I'm not sure if I'd think of "necrocosm" when I see an arena of bored fans.

TPBM loves to cook.

message 7136: by Jenn (new)

TPBM nearly skipped dinner earlier.

message 7141: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Well, I'd call a few slices of bread and some lemonade a snack and not dinner. So I have actually skipped dinner.

TPBM is hoping for a nice long relaxing weekend.

TPBM would like to explore the world through the experience of liminality.

message 7144: by Garrison (new)

TPBM enjoys the sound of icicles falling from the eaves of his/her abode.

message 7149: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments It hasn't snowed where I live, but there's been plenty of rain and plenty of reasons to take mid-day naps, the biggest one being the low barometric pressure. Needless to say, I wouldn't know what icicles falling from my roof sounds like.

TPBM is single and doesn’t agonize over it.

message 7150: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Most of time yes. Some of the time no. So I can't give a yes/no answer.
