OMG, I love that I'm not the only one who splurges atleast once a week. :) Yay, for books!

Btw, Suzanne, I am dying to read Tender Rebel by Johanna Lindsey. It's the second book in her Malory series and I've read every book but that one. The hero Anthony, is my absolute favorite!

So, all this talk about buying books just whetted my appetite! Yesterday after working out at the gym, I stopped at Half Price Books (it's right across the street - how convenient!!) and bought.....



Then, while shopping at Target this evening, jumped into my cart.

I got an e-mail from B&N stating there was a bargain book sale (internet only), and since I get free shipping, I couldn't resist! Here's what I purchased..........(all hardbacks for $24)

Yesterday I picked up Women, Food, and God: An Unexpected Path to Almost Everything by Geneen Roth at Costco.

I didn't buy it but I acquired The Night Villa by Carol Goodman from PBS yesterday. I have 3 more on their way and 3 from Amazon coming this week, yikes. I'll fill you in when I get them.

Went to a couple garage sales and to one of our used bookstores and picked up enough kiddie books for all the grandkids. And I picked up for me:

Picked up Touch of Darkness by Christina Dodd a few days ago.

Nora and Janet are two of my favorite author's. Janet I still buy the hc when it comes out. Nora I hold off if possible. I'm looking forward to going to the shore for memorial day weekend because they just might have a flea market which they usually do on holiday weekends and my favorite ubs owner always has a few tables. She has even let me call in books I wanted to her ahead of time and she would bring them to the flea market for me. I've only done that once. She charges less at the flea market than at the store but I told her I didn't mind she still gave me something off. Not maybe ubs around anymore so she's the only one I know of. And since she's not close down there I don't get there as often as I hope. But I always have a list in my purse that I go to when I call her or go to the store. Of course if I see something else while there I always grab it too.

I have the book in paperback the hardcover was a good price so I couldn't pass it up.
