Hannah, if you want to read a cozy set in Australia, pick up Kerry Greenwood's Phryne Fisher series (best read in order, if you can.) I'm always reminded of Daisy Dalrymple and Lady Georgiana when I read them, though I don't think the characters are all that similar. They are good fun reads, all set in Australia, with an interesting set of characters.

If you like cozies, you would definitely enjoy Malice Domestic (shameless plug). I always have fun getting to chat with lots of my favorite authors - and they're all so nice to keep writing so I'll have plenty of reading material! LOL I wish I could give everyone a free ticket for the weekend but I spend most of my money on books so... The good news is that next year, the hotel rates are the same all weekend (not higher on Weds/Thurs).
Enjoy this group, please! Mystery writers are some of the greatest folks around! : )

I love her books, too. My favorite was Body in the Vestibule. The one set in France. What's your favorite? I hear she has another coming out this year.

Have read some "Stephanie Plum" and read the first in the series, Truly, Madly.

My name is Mary Ellen and I'm a fairly new member of GoodReads. I've been looking for a few groups to join and I had to join this one because I love mysteries. I am a fan of M. C. Beaton, Ellis Peters, Agatha Christie, and a few others who evade my memory at the moment. I'm really glad to have found this group!

Hey, Brian's Girl. I just came across your welcome. I can never find if someone replies and this was way back, but wanted to thank you now that I discovered it.
And can you believe I was going on here to write an introduction? Good thing I checked every post and since I had already done this. some fun trivia: I am from the state that for the last month have spent daily dry runs into the storm cellar. lol If any are wondering Missouri. So far surviving and lost nothing. thank you Lord.
Welcome to the group, Mary Ellen. Your timing is impeccable, as M.C. Beaton is our June featured author.

Janice, your new book looks like a lot of fun! Congratulations on your award. I love travel-themed cozies, so I've just put Death on Tour on my to-read list and can't wait to try it!

I am from the U.K. I currently have two books out that seem to live in the top 100 kindle rankings, which is nice. I love to read and since getting my kindle I have been through more books in a month than I did in the whole of last year, lol. I am really happy to be here and I look forward to getting to know you all.

I’m Linda Reilly and I love cozy mysteries! I joined Goodreads earlier this year, and I’m very glad that I did. I’m looking forward to sharing ideas and suggestions for great reads with my fellow members. At the moment I’m reading Black Beans and Vice by JB Stanley, and I’m loving it.

Bobbi, hope you enjoy your visit to Australia! You'll have to get your beach reads ready, because it'll be quite hot by Christmas. Funnily enough, I don't think I've read any cozies by Aussie authors. The most "Australian" cozy I've read is G'Day to Die by Maddy Hunter, set in the Aussie outback and quite a fun read.
