I'm always reminded of Daisy Dalrymple and Lady Georgiana when I read them, though I don't think the characters are all that similar. They are good fun reads, all set in Australia, with an interesting set of characters.
I can second Sherry's recommendation Hannah - Kerry Greenwood's Phryne Fisher series is one of my all time favorites. Of course I get an added kick from them b/c I live in Melbourne - not quite the same for a Sydney-sider. ;-)
Ooh, that sounds like just my kind of thing! The mention of Lady Georgiana and Daisy Dalrymple clinched the deal; I adore them both. I'm off to the library later today, so I'll see whether I can find the first one. Thanks for the rec, Sherry and Jennifer!

I'm certain you'll find lots of great reading suggestions here!If you like cozies, you would definitely enjoy Malice Domestic (shameless plug). I always have fun getting to chat with lots of my favorite authors - and they're all so nice to keep writing so I'll have plenty of reading material! LOL I wish I could give everyone a free ticket for the weekend but I spend most of my money on books so... The good news is that next year, the hotel rates are the same all weekend (not higher on Weds/Thurs).

Yes Katherine Hall Page has a new Book coming out this year. My favorite of hers is The Body in the Lighthouse

Hi Everyone! My name is Ann and I live on the coast of Washington in a small fishing village half way between Seattle and Portland. I just love cozies because I feel that they are more interesting and are a lighter read than your full mysteries. I especially love ones with dogs or cats or both seeing that I have 3 large dogs and 8 cats at home. I look forward to being in this club and meeting everyone. (I hope I am doing this right).
Hi - my names's Jo and I live in the UK. Always loved reading and found this website while looking for reviews for new books to read (for the kindle my family bought me in the desperate attempt to not buy more bookshelves). I spotted this group and had to join I've always loved mysteries from Enid Blyton's Famous Five as a kid, moving on to Agatha Christie as a teenager, many more since and most recently Cleo Coyle Coffee house mysteries.

Hello! I just joined Goodreads today. It's far overdue. :) I saw this group and had to have a look. Mystery is my favorite genre and I enjoy paranormal mysteries the most. I just finished E.J. Copperman's An Uninvited Ghost. Really enjoyed both books in that series. They were both fun, easy reads.

Bobbi, hope you enjoy your visit to Australia! You'll have to get your beach reads ready, because it'll be quite hot by Christmas. Funnily enough, I don't think I've read any cozies by Aussie authors. The most "Australian" cozy I've read is G'Day to Die by Maddy Hunter, set in the Aussie outback and quite a fun read.
