Stephanie (smackley) | 75 comments this is a bout a girl on a planet where the music these people play makes warmth. literally. she sucks and goes on her first mission. has to learn. eventually falls in love with low class citizen (taboo). the title i think is the name of the planet?

Annmarie (svea) | 9 comments I suspect Kaion means, what is "warth", because that's what I am wondering. wars, maybe?

Stephanie (smackley) | 75 comments well im stuck because i cant find that either. im sure the title was somthing exotic, like not a normal word

Kevyn Stephanie, I think we are not understanding your first post. You say: "the music these people play makes warth. literally."

What do you mean? Is "Warth" the girl's name? Or did you mean "wars" as in, the music makes countries go to war with each other? And do you mean the girl sucks as a musician and has to learn or do you mean something else?

Can you rephrase for us? Also, do you remember anything about the planet or any other details about the girl or the people she encounters? Are they all human or are they different aliens in some way?

Stephanie (smackley) | 75 comments warth is a typo. sorry! it was supposed to be warmth. when the girls play their music it creates energy to make warmth, light etc. sorry for the mix up!

Stephanie (smackley) | 75 comments they really are all human but know one knows about earth. they're on some planet resembling a basic ice block. the girl(main character) sucks because when she plays her music, she doesn't create energy.

Kevyn This is a stretch, but could it be _Jovah's Angel_ by Sharon Shinn? In the Samaria series, the "angels" (winged humans) have amazing singing voices and control the weather by flying high into the sky and singing. http://sharonshinn.net/HTML/samaria.html

It is more science fiction than it sounds at first; I imagine if that were it, you'd remember the angels and biblical references, but thought I'd throw it out there as a possibility.

Stephanie (smackley) | 75 comments yeah no angels in this one. there is another character the guy she falls in love with but they cant do anything because when she takes an oath to be this singer, instrument playing person its basically like becoming a nun

Stephanie (smackley) | 75 comments thats the romance part of the book
