Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Okay I finished Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth and it was really good! I would give it 4.5 stars but there are no half stars so I rounded up. Really really good!! Read it!

message 1359: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Oh and I'm starting Demonglass (Hex Hall, #2) by Rachel Hawkins today!

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Yes I reeeeally want to know what you think, Heidi! I know peep didn't like it at all so it makes me wonder...

message 1362: by [deleted user] (new)

Makes me excited to read it, Kourtni! I've got Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews and The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong from the library so have to read those first.

message 1363: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Is Magic Bites getting any better for you?

message 1364: by [deleted user] (new)

It's better but I still don't care about Kate or her world. I felt like I was dropped into the middle of a book. It is very weird. No explanations, no world building, etc.

message 1365: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments I know, I felt the same way. I believe I only rated the first one 3 stars and the others got 4 or 5. Just hang in there! Trust me!

message 1366: by [deleted user] (new)

I trust you!

message 1367: by Carey (new)

Yay! I feel like I am stalking you about this series since I already commented, but I am excited!

I didn't know there was a new Sisterhood book out! Woohoo!

message 1381: by Kristina (new)

Kristina (kristinalawhead) yeah Shannen it came out a couple weeks ago! It was my most looked forward to book this year, I can't wait to read it!

message 1382: by [deleted user] (new)

I put a hold on it at the library. :)

I'm still reading Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews . I have to say that I just don't like her writing. She assumes we understand the world she has created and it is rather annoying that there are no explanations. I have less than 100 pages to go and that makes me very happy!

The last Harry Potter book is taking me forever to read. I don't know why. For some reason I can only read, like, five pages of it at a time. And I like it and all, I just ... I HAVE SO MANY OTHER THINGS TO READ. *headbook*

Heidi - I did read it. Totally sums up how I feel. I am going to read the second book because everyone says it is so much better. You all listened to me about the Fever series so I owe you one!

It takes some time to get used to the 3 characters and their lives. I didn't get into it until about midway through.

message 1398: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (lesmisarahbles) | 12 comments I just finished the Darkest Powers series. I must say I enjoyed them till the ending. Who are all these characters they mentioned in the last book? It really seemed like it needed another just to clear up the loose ends.

message 1399: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments Hmm which characters do you mean?

message 1400: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Heidi & Shannen - I am sticking with it because you guys loved it so much and I am slowly starting to connect with the characters. You're right though, it was difficult to get into it at first because it kept changing POV before you could really get into one of their stories.
