Kathy wrote: "Currently 80% into The Goldfinch!"My dad just sent me this, I uploaded and started to read in bed, sending me right into a coma after a long day, lol. Today has a kindle fondling all day kinda day feel! lol
Just finished The Song of Achilles. A great read if you enjoy historical fiction/fantasy in the Classical age.
I just finished Whisper Falls a sci fi time travel realistic romance. Now I'm reading CJ Sampsons Matthew Sharlake series Revelation.
Bitch In a Bonnet: Reclaiming Jane Austen From the Stiffs, the Snobs, the Simps and the Saps, Volume 1 - hilariously funny Cliff Notes for the Jane Austen cannon.
Finished Goldfinch "ages" ago. Currently 65% into Inamorata which was a Kindle First selection. Really enjoying the writing style, some of which is downright beautiful. It is historical and they are in Venice!
The Gauguin Connection by Estelle Ryan. Art, murder and a main character with high functioning autism. Enjoying it. Really different.
Since I was last here I have read:Black Swan Rising - Lee Carroll
The Watchtower - Lee Carroll
The Shape Stealer - Lee Carroll
Angel's Hero - Liz Borino
Angel's Truth - Liz Borino
The Gondola Maker - Laura Morelli
Chelsea Wives and Their Mistresses - Sarah Bramley
Private India - James Patterson
The Fetish Queen, Part One: Reborn - Nicole Camden
The 100 Society - Carla Spradbery
HOUSE OF STONE - Rene D. Schultz
The Fetish Queen, Part Two: Infamous - Nicole Camden
The Fetish Queen, Part Three: Cursed - Nicole Camden
The Kill Order (I find it to be pretty boring)Horns (I love this book so much! is unlike anything I ever read)
We Were Liars (Is the kind of book that you can read in one sit, it's short, keeps you interested but is really nothing special)
I am slowly reading Who is This Man? By John Ortberg. Quite enjoying it. On my kindle app next up is Timebound.
I've finished Bound and Unbroken - Skye Callahan. Now I am reading Welcome to the Dark House - Laurie Faria Stolarz.
I'm reading The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini. I've read A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini which I liked, but took me a six years to read this book lol.
The Bull From the Sea, by Mary Renault. Gorgeous prose but a slow read on my Kindle Fire HD -- way too easy to look up locations & minor characters by clicking through! (Of course, looking things up is half of what I love about reading on a Kindle.)
A new author for me, Pete Carter's 'The Fence'. Enjoying it so far, lots of action, some very nice contemporary themes and some near future concepts.
Good dialogue, and a crisp pace.
I've finished The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini which I found rather interesting and eye opening to what happened in Afghanistan. Now I am reading Bloodstone - Barbra Annino
Gave up on Bloodstone - Barbra Annino as I couldn't get into the characters lol. So I am now reading Together Forever - Vicki Green which I've read books 1 and 3 before. Looks like another 1.30am staying up due to the nature of this author's book that keeps me gripped lol.
Just finished the delightful Together Forever - Vicki Green. This was book 2 in the Forever Series. I am now off to read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson (a book I have been putting off for the past 2 nearly 3 yrs lol). Wish me luck ;) x
Reading Words of Radiance (sequel to Way of Kings) by Brandon Sanderson. Its amazing how much easier (and faster) it is to read fat books on a Kindle. I would have put off--tackling these 1,000+ pages in a mass paperback form. I don't know why that is.

Last night I finished Mommy, May I? - A.K. Alexander (on audio). Not sure what I think as it was laughable one minute and boring the next lol. Now I have Die For Me: A Novel of the Valentine Killer - Cynthia Eden (Audio) and reading Broken Build - Rachelle Ayala for a challenge.
Just finished Ripley's Game
by one of my favorites, Patricia Highsmith, even though I've read it — and seen it — before.
I've read Die For Me: A Novel of the Valentine Killer - Cynthia Eden and listened to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson. Now I am reading Broken Build - Rachelle Ayala.
Can I just say what a pleasure it is having a kindle as opposed to lugging around
. I'm almost done, at 90% and it's taken me a looong time.
I've read and finished Play Me #1: Play Me Wild & Play Me #2: Play Me Hot - Tracy Wolff. Now I am reading Play Me #3: Play Me Hard - Tracy Wolff.
Yesterday I finished Song of Susannah and today I started And Another Thing..., the last book of "Hitchhiker's guide of galaxy".
I'm reading another book by Karen Harper "Forbidden Ground" Just came out on the 28th. Its the second book trilogy from Shattered Secrets.
I've read and finished Play Me #1: Play Me Wild, Play Me #2: Play Me Hot, Play Me #3: Play Me Hard, Play Me #4: Play Me Real and Play Me #5: Play Me Right - Tracy Wolff. I loved the characters and the steamy scenes. Worth buying in December if you like Erotica/Romance kinda books. Be warned they are in 5 installments as well. Now I am reading Three Little Words - Maggie Wells.
Yesterday I started Pet Sematary. I haven't read so much, but the thrill is visible though still weak.
Just finished Fall of the Giants. Starting Winter of the World. Thank heavens for Kindle or I would be getting carpel tunnel. LOL
Finished Three Little Words - Maggie Wells. Now I am reading The City of Malgar - Rosemary Lynch. Looking forward to reading this trilogy.
