I enjoyed 'Odd Thomas' but wasn't particularly struck on the one that followed. Was a great reader of Dean Koontz when I was younger.

Today I finished reading Plagued: The Midamerica Zombie Half-Breed Experiment. A different take on the zombie genre, with halfbreeds and very little gore. (I'm not into gore, so that was a bonus for me.)

Before that I tried to read Gone but gave up after about 60 pages, was just too bland for me. Perhaps it is more aimed at 12 year olds?

Currently I'm reading Those Who Hunt the Night by Barbara Hambly. It's going a bit slow (I've hear others day the same) but it's interesting enough to make me want to finish it. It is a part of the James Asher series which contains 4 books. I was technically suppose to start reading The Barkeep by William Lashner but somehow it hasn't peak my interest as well. But I got it as a part of Amazon's Kindle First so I will definitely read it so I can leave feedback.
