Aoibhínn (aoibhinn) Right now I'm reading Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry. I got it free as one of those read & review things. I'm 5 or 6 chapters into it so far and it's pretty boring. the novel is not very well written and its meant to be a YA romance novel but the main characters who are 19 & 22 talk like their in their 60's! And if that wasn't bad enough, the love story is far too unrealistic, so I'm finding it very hard to connect with the characters. I think this is one novel where I'm definitely going to struggle through it.

Okay, so it's the end of March instead of the beginning of April, but it will be the beginning of April before you know it.

Anne (annecurrin) | 16 comments Finishing up a Stephanie Plum book, and then will be starting a Jodi Picoult book. Should be able to get a bit of reading done this week. Have several appts to take my Mom to and lots of waiting around. I have a sister who refuses to help with any of her care, so it's all left to me. But I try to be productive and read while we wait. Betsy Still reading Power, Sex, Suicide: Mitochondria and the Meaning of Life. It's very interesting but somewhat slow going since it's all new to me.

Just started Maphead: Charting the Wide, Weird World of Geography Wonks, a group read for the GR Fans of Maps Group.

Both require that I keep my tablet nearby for viewing illustrations and maps, since those don't really show up well on the kindle.
