Jo I'm sick that everything my friend are searchign for in books is a desperate romance. All the want is the Last Song and Dear John, a Walk to Remember, Message in a Bottle.

message 110: by Ayesha (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ayesha Are you the grammer police?? You're more annoying than Kelsey's incorrect grammer LOL! But I agree with how you said The Hunger Games didn't just focus on romance, I think that's what made it more interesting than Twilight in my opinion.

message 111: by Kelsey (new) - rated it 5 stars

Nurlely I think Josephine is right. It gives you headache reading comments with incorrect spelling. It somehow gives a hint of someone who is incapable to write properly yet give away his/her comments...:)

message 132: by Juliet (new) - rated it 5 stars

Juliet HUNGER GAMES....HUNGER GAMES....HUNGER GAMES...HUNGER GAMES

Amy Wilder I got more out of Twilight as a love story, but more out of Hunger Games overall.

I think the heart of the romance in Twilight was intense, beautiful and...then it came to a STRANGE end.

The romance(s) in Hunger Games were so broken up by war, stress, and lack of trust that I felt more pulled along by the plot and the questions about the fate of the world and individual characters than swept up in the love story. That said, Hunger Games delivered on so many levels...I am going to say...Hunger Games.

Twilight might have won if I had never read the word "Renesmee".

message 149: by Karrie (new) - rated it 5 stars
