Currently Reading? Just Finished?
Just finished Last Chance Lassiterby Paul Levine. Enjoyed it! Starting today The Surgeon by Tess Gerritsen.

I've only read the first two so far, but I've got that one on my bookshelf to read. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm currently just over half way through The Water Man's Daughter, a mystery set in South Africa that I'm enjoying. I'm about to start The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch by Philip K. Dick.
Finishing up One Was a Soldier by Julia Spencer-Fleming. Then i'm gonna start The Inner Circle by Brad Meltzer.

The ebooks for this series are ridiculously overpriced for some reason. The second book was released almost 3 years ago and I'm still waiting for it to drop below $10.
Just finished Wrongful Death: A Novel. First read by Dugoni and still the favorite is The Conviction

loved deal breaker and can't wait to read the next one- glad to hear the series continues to be enjoyable as it progresses.
I finished That Will Do Nicely by Ian Wallace Campbell. In this book, Tom Pascoe, left in debt by his vindictive ex-wife, devises a get-rich-quick scheme to forge traveler's checks. The fascinating forgery plan is well-detailed....made me wish I knew how to be a forger. :)
Rachel wrote: "reading Deal Breaker
- not sure why it took me so long to start this series- really loving it so far" LOVE Harlan Coben - I'm glad you're enjoying it! I only just "discovered" his books a couple years ago. :)
Hi Dipanjan, I read the Dante Club and was so looking forward to it. I was disappointed. Tell us what you thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ Georgia - Really? Disappointing? I picked it up based on the promise of a good tricky "cat and mouse" manhunt. Will review as usual.

can't wait for his new book to come out next month Six Years
Finished December's Thorn: A Fever Devilin Novel, this series is a favorite of mine and starting The Sound of Broken Glass which is also like alot.
I'm currently reading The Crow Trap by Ann Cleeves and The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch by Philip K. Dick.
I'm reading Persuader by Lee Child. Jack Reacher investigates a major crime figure in this thriller.
I am well into the Jessica Daniels series by Kerry Wilkinson. I have read Locked In and Vigilante, and have started Woman in Black. It's a great series and easy reading. Very enjoyable.Kerry WilkinsonVigilante
I'm reading James Patterson's NYPD RED
. This one didn't grab me immediately, but it's coming along!
I just finished Deadly Stakes by JA Jance which I enjoyed. I'm still reading on Kinsey and Me: Stories and am getting ready to start Guilt. But, currently I'm reading a non mystery :)
Julie wrote: "I just finished Deadly Stakes by JA Jance which I enjoyed. I'm still reading on Kinsey and Me: Stories and am getting ready to start Guilt. But, currently I'm reading a non mystery :)"Oh! How is Kinsey and Me? It was sitting there on the shelf at the bookstore and I was tempted. My fear of commitment kicked in, though and I didn't buy it.
Is it a worthy read? Will I merely become saddened? Does she hint about future Kinsey books? (WAIT! Don't answer that.)
Working my way through the Alex Cross series. Just finished Rose Are Red, and have started Violets Are Blue.
I recently finished The Silla Project
. I read this when it came out last summer, but with North Korea testing missiles and nuclear bombs, I wanted to read it again. It's a thrilling read (although I skimmed a chapter that was mostly physics)and gives me a perspective on North Korea that makes the news originating there both chilling and pathetic. I recommend it if you want something to think about (and a good story).
I just finished Down and Out in Paris and London by George Orwell. I seem to be on an Orwell kick, reading his lesser known novels. I also recently finished Burmese Days. Both books are full of interesting characters, and a thoroughly unsentimental look at life (the poor in the first and colonials in the second).
Just finished Snowbound by Blake Crouch. Great book. Here is my review it you're interested.

I'll be reading Whiskey Sour by J.A. Konrath now.
Georgia wrote: "Hi Dipanjan, I read the Dante Club and was so looking forward to it. I was disappointed. Tell us what you thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Done with "Dante Club". Agree with you. Very disappointed.
I am impressed that other readers have Orwell's two earlier books, lesser known ones too, on their shelves. My fiction library is sorely lacking. Right now I'm reading a collection of short stories, "Video" by Meena Nair.

I just got that! I have the audible version of
, too, but haven't gotten around to listening/reading it yet.
I just finished Off Season, Jeff Ketchum
I'm in the middle of A perfect Evil, by Alex Kava
and I'm getting ready to start Into the Dark, by Alison Gaylin
Just started Horses and Heroin. I haven't found an author since Dick Francis that really knows horses and as a lifetime horse person, inaccuracies drive me nuts. However, I am still driven to try.
I started reading Eden and after 5 chapters I'm totally hooked. The pacing and story is fantastic so far.
Currently reading "A is for Alien" (Caitlin Kiernan) and "The Infernals" (John Connolly).Just finished "The Gates" and "Every Dead Thing" - both by John Connolly.
Ronhummer wrote: "I'll be reading Whiskey Sour by J.A. Konrath now."how's that working out for you? i really liked it, though i was worried that title and the main character's name were just too cute. would like to know that others think of the series.
Just started Trackers by Deon Meyer and Buried in a Bog.
