Dawn Oh - you're sucked in now! I couldn't put them down until I finished #5. And they just keep getting longer as you go! But worth it!

Dawn Just finished The Snowman (Harry Hole, #7) by Jo Nesbø and really enjoyed it. Now I'm back to The Emperor of All Maladies by Siddhartha Mukherjee - which is highly readable. Who knew I would enjoy reading a book about cancer?? Also starting Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski .

Dawn Finished Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski . Bukowski is so amazing. Also read Let's Take the Long Way Home A Memoir of Friendship by Gail Caldwell which was very special and I highly recommend.
Still plugging away at The Emperor of All Maladies by Siddhartha Mukherjee and am just starting Fables For Our Time/Further Fables For Our Time by James Thurber to lighten it up a bit! Six books to go until I meet my 2011 reading goal!

Dawn I was skeptical, but really enjoyed it! I got some great advice before I started - don't let the unfamiliar people and place names get you down or confused at the beginning. Everything you need to remember will stick by the time you're about 100 pages in. Enjoy!

Omgosh..those are wonderfully funny and entertaining books!!!! Can hardly wait for the movie...I have not read the last one yet! Shame on me

I read this once and i think I need to reread! I was totally confused, thus making me not want to read the other books!

It was really good, Deb. It's the second book in a new series. The first is Death Notice. I tend to love mysteries set in small towns.

Dorie (dorieann) Currently reading The Restorer, a supernatural mystery about a cemetery restorer who can also see ghosts. I'm enjoying it a lot because the protagonist is a mature adult who acts her age, and the ghosts are creepy instead of "fun".
