Spring challenge - read the rainbow.

Duration:- 21 March 2010 to 20 June 2010

How about a reading challange for spring? Officially (in the UK at least!) 21st March to 20th June.

Read the rainbow is simple, just select a book with a cover the colour of each of the colours of the rainbow.

Indigo
Violet
Add a pot of gold at the end if you like!! (ie any book(s) at all!)

Ok, I'm going to use this challenge as a excuse to read a new author (well one I haven't read yet!!). So the books I am going to read are:

YELLOW- Dark Lover, J.R.Ward
GREEN- Lover Unbound, J.R.Ward
BLUE- Lover Eternal, J.R.Ward
INDIGO- Lover Revealed, J.R.Ward
VIOLET- Grave Secret, Charrlaine Harris
GOLD (loosely, I know!!)- An Ice Cold Grave, Charrlaine Harris.

I may have got my Violet and Indigo the wrong way around but I can't really tell the difference!!!
And you may have guess, I haven't read any J.R.Ward Black Dagger Brotherhood Novels before ^-^, thanks for recomending them Jen ^-^.

Natalie, the indigo and violet are the hardest to tell apart, I've just gone for as near I can, it can be difficult to tell the exact colour on screen.

Sounds about right, sort of part way between darkish blue and purple!!

Melanie, some of my choices are not exactly the right colour either. They are all near enough though! The idea is just to get us to think about what books we are going to read and it should be fun as well!! I've found sometimes it helps to use the UK and US covers, more choice!!

Shaniah - I felt the same way as you about picking up Wake and I must say now that I have read it I'm wondering why I waited as long as I did. It was a really good read. Very original and the writing style is also very unique. The only thing I have to complain about is I wish the book was longer it's only about 200 pages and can be read in a couple hours. I think you should give it a try :)
