I'm reading Great Expectation right now and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I love them both so far!
I'm reading Looking for Alaska by John Mean, Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi, and I just finished The Clockwork Three by Kirby Matthew J. and Touching Spirit Bear by Mikaelsen Ben.
It is really good. Haven't finished it yet, but it is Definitely good. Made me cry, but I'm not saying why.
Better not to say, I'm gonna figure it out soon.
That's good Avery, and just some advice, if you get emotional over books, make sure you're alone when you get close to the AFTER section. with tissues.
Oh, I get emotional over books. Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure I'm not at school.
See that's where I made my mistake. I was at school, on picture day, in the middle of a silent reading class. the only noise in the room, was my awful sobbing.
That must have been embarrassing!
Not so much embarrassing as it was a normal day for "The goofball named Toni who gets over emotional about fictional characters, and is the weirdest person anyone will ever know." yup, that's me.
My friends call me an antisocial book freak.
Well nothing is wrong with that. Your not technically antisocial. You are always with fictional characters in your mind, and you learn more and more about them every time you pick up your book. In my opinion that's pretty social.
It is very social. They just don't get it. "We read to know that we are not alone." C.S. Lewis
Me: I think we ALL get emotional over books. And if you get emotional over books, that's a good thing. It means that you truly, deeply understand the book. You can see the darkest depths of the book that no one else can. By the way, after you read a REALLY good book, do you think about some scenes from the book that you would like to be changed a little and you add a character or two and change the scene in your mind? I do that for movies, anime series, and books. I do it for media and literature. It just helps me understand the book and it helps me realize what might have happened in the book and the author written the scene differently
I actually do have thoughts like that when I finish a good book. My Friends at school never get emotional over books though. If my favourite character dies in a book, and they read it, they don't even flinch, or get sad. Its horrible. The poor souls.
I feel bad for those people as well. My friends (most of them) get REALLY emotional when something horrible or wonderful happens in a book. They LOVE books, as do I. I'm really happy to have friends like me.
I've just finished City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and now I'm reading Emma by Jane Austen, The Last Lion Defender of the Realm by William Manchester and Paul Reid as well as Curtsies and Conspiracies by Gail Carringer!
right now Im reading City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare! its the last book in the mortal instruments series. its full of romance and action its mostly for teen girls. I love it. Next I plan on reading Divergent
I have almost finished reading The Roar, it's set in the future and it's really weird. I've got a few books on my bookshelf I haven't read yet, so I hope to read them soon!
I'm reading the James Potter series. It makes me feel pretty nostalgic, if you know what I mean. The first book I remember having read is Harry Potter book one. I'm not saying the writing or plot is wonderful or anything, but it's able to snuggle up pretty close to the heart ^_^
I just finished and really liked Catcher in the Rye. It wasn't required reading, but, I just heard it was on every Must Read list so I thought, why not.
I'm reading Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman. It's a kid's book so it's easy peasy. I'm planning on starting the Cloud Hunters.
I just finished reading Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (I loved it!). I'm now reading Article 5 by Kristen Simmons.
hey I am currently reading eon: rise of the dragoneye and IT by Stephen king and the outsider (Roswell high #1)
I'm reading the fascinating, and truly amazing
by Stephen King. I'm not even halfway through the book yet I love it SO much!!
I'm reading HoH by Rick Riordan! IT'S SO AWESOME!
