Ooh, I should probably go back and do that to see if I missed anything important. Did you see Darren Criss's random appearance. I was like, "Why the heck is he here?" They didn't even mention him, haha!

That book was... not my favorite. The main character sucked. Ah well, maybe you'll enjoy it more. :)

message 1955: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Wait, really? I'm mostly just listening to it while multi-tasking. About when was it? I'm to the Helena Boham Carter interview.

((So I'm uber excited because from what's been said, I think that Molly Weasley's line is in the movie!))

message 1956: by Swiftfire (new)

Swiftfire | 72 comments It's not for a while. It's after Jo and Daniel show up. :)

((What line? This is why I need to re-read the book...))

message 1957: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Oh, okay. They just said that they were both on their ways. I know that Dan couldn't be there early because he had something for "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" i believe it was. But anyways he was in New York.

DAN just got there!

((Hahaha, yeah. When Bellatrix goes in to kill Ginny but Molly steps in and tells Bellatrix "Not my daughter, you b*****!"))

message 1958: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments And Jo just arrived

message 1959: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Okay, I think I missed it, Swifty

message 1960: by Swiftfire (new)

Swiftfire | 72 comments You should see him soon, then. After their interviews. He kind of just stands there. And randomly jumps. Oh, Darren.

((Oh yes. :D That line will definitely be in it.))

message 1961: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments The interview's been over for a while. I'm pretty sure that i missed it.

((I know, i was really excited when I heard Julie Walters mention something about it- I almost flipped out in happieness))

message 1962: by Swiftfire (new)

Swiftfire | 72 comments Hmm... probably not, it's a while after the interview. Afterwards they just stall.

((:D I didn't know which line she was talking about at the time, only that it was not appropriate for a family broadcast.))

message 1963: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments ((hahaha, nope! not really!))

well, I'm not actually watching it anymore, i'm back to listening

message 1964: by Swiftfire (new)

Swiftfire | 72 comments Well, you just missed him. :o

message 1965: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Ross i am reading "if your reading this its too late"

message 1966: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, I figured. Some one will probably post it on youtube as a clip later, so I'll look it up later.

message 1967: by Swiftfire (new)

Swiftfire | 72 comments Oh well. I hope you heard the speeches at the end. :)

message 1968: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I heard some of them, I had to get off because dinner was ready and I closed it out. when I got back on just now there wasn't a thing on youtube for it.

message 1969: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) @Taylor: How is it, I saw it the other day and considered reading it.

message 1970: by Liza (new)

Liza (gracefulserendipity) Starcrossed

message 1971: by Miss Amelia (new)

Miss Amelia (missameliatxva) Marking All These Things I've Done as DNF and I ordered Megan Whalen Turner's The Thief and The Queen of Attolia, but only QUEEN OF ATTOLIA has come so far, so I'm thinking about starting that one first, even though it's book two.

Anyone read that series? Do you have to read them in order?

And Jessica, my friend: DO NOT READ THAT BOOK. You'll never get the time back!
You've gotta try some Melina Marchetta instead! SERIOUSLY!!!

message 1972: by Diana (new)

Diana I second the Melina Marchetta recommendation!

message 1973: by Miss Amelia (new)

Miss Amelia (missameliatxva) YAY! Did you read Saving Francesca, Jellicoe Road, or both?

message 1974: by Diana (new)

Diana Both! Jellicoe Road was my favorite though. You?

message 1975: by Miss Amelia (new)

Miss Amelia (missameliatxva) <3Jellicoe<3

message 1976: by Night (new)

Night Fury | 25 comments After pacing around feverishly for the past half-hour, I've finally gotten hold of my benumbed mind(for the simple reason... I just finished devouring Ptolemy's Gate - Book 3 Bartimaeus Trilogy...) And ahh! What a MASTER PIECE it is...

Why? For the simple reason that it's got everything... emotion, wit, unbidden disgust which later blends into remorse... and what's always been a terrific companion with the latters... action!!

A must-read...

message 1977: by Pandy (new)

Pandy | 185 comments I absolutely agree with you. I've read Ptolemy's Gate multiple times, but it never fails to amaze me. The Bartimaeus Trilogy as a whole is wonderful.

I saw how to Succeed in Business last Sunday (so good) and there was a rumor he wouldn't be there because of Harry Potter stuff. Ironic. But he was, so it was all good.

message 1979: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, he just essentially bolted to make the premiere. I think that him and Jo were the last ones to arrive (it all depends on whether I'm remembering correctly)

On Broadway?
Me too! I was in NYC about a month ago & saw him.
My mom was like, "You know, I'm really surprised. That Dennis kid is a pretty good singer!"
LOL.

natalie | 5047 comments Two people I know went to New York and saw him. ^_^

And I just finished The Locket. I like the idea of the book more than I liked the book.

message 1983: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Amelia- Oh my gosh. ^_^
I wanna go see it, but the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. :(

message 1989: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Cool! I loved it. It's very deep.

message 1990: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Sad deep, or just plain ole deep?

message 1991: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Both really. I can't explain it without ruining the book.

message 1992: by natalie (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) | 2729 comments Natalie wrote: "I have The Devil's Arithmetic. Is it good?"

I am loving it! When we did our WWII unit this year in English, we watched the movie, and I found the book a few days ago in the store. I still remember the movie, so it's not new to me, but I love it :D

message 1994: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Oh, okay, sounds good! Thanks! :)

message 1997: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Zakiya- there's a movie for it? I didn't even know. ^_^

message 1998: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) | 2729 comments Rae- yep! My dad has never heard about the movie either. Not even sure if he'd ever heard of the book. LOL. The movie's super good! :)

message 1999: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Cool! How does it compare to the book?

message 2000: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) | 2729 comments For the most part, the book is more detailed, and a little slower. I'm halfway thru the book, but they just now are getting taken away. The movie was a little faster for sure.
