You should read it! Very, very, good. Some of my favorite.

ok ill try.

message 1853: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments So I'm reading The Lovely Bones... but also HBP. I got a library card, and I wanted to re-read the whole series, but they only have the last two right now, so that was a downer on my day. And then they didn't have City of Fallen Angels, which I need!

Ingrid Ingrid wrote: "Right now hmmm...i am currently reading Hunger Games. My friends say it's good."

The Hunger Games are quite good. Really violent, but good nevertheless.

I just started Entwined but I'm not really liking it.
It seems like the only sister with personality is Bramble. The rest of them seem kind of the same. I'll finish it though, maybe my opinion will change as I get further into the story.

So far I like Juliet Marrillier's retelling of the fairy tale best. Then Jessica Day George's.

message 1855: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Yeah, I heard it wasn't very good and quite slow.

message 1856: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid It doesn't seem that slow, I just can't like the main character. She seems a bit too perfect; a Mary-Sue.

message 1857: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Ohhhh.

message 1858: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid And they all seem alike. The sisters. Even the sister with the most personality is just the typical 'wild sister.'

message 1859: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Oh, that kinda sucks.

message 1860: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Well, are you okay with extremely violent things?
You're eleven, right? I think you said that somewhere.
I'm not sure, it would depend, but I don't think I would have read it at that age. I think I'd say fourteen or fifteen, but it really depends on the person.

You say you like Wildwood Dancing the best while your picture is from the cover. I find that funny.

@Natalie: When you say you got a library card does that mean that you haven't had one until now?

message 1862: by Katie (new)

Katie (bookshelfblogger) Currently I am reading Stargazer by Claudia Gray. It is the second book in the Evernight Series. I just started reading the Evernight series and got madly addicted! Everyone should read this series! :)

Yes.

Finished TLB, and almost done with HP.

message 1865: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments How did you survive without a library card? I would have gone mad long ago.

How does it feel to reread HP?

message 1866: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I have tons of books... And librbay kinda sucks. :/

It feels amazing. :)

message 1867: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I have tons of books too, but my library is one of the best places on earth. I guess since you can get so many books for free it's different.

I know what you mean about feeling amazing. Those books never get old. My sister came home from college, reread all the books in about four days, watched all the movies (some of them more than once) and is now rereading the first again. And I don't find it strange.

message 1868: by Marie (new)

Marie Delos Reyes (mldr) | 1 comments I'm reading Looking for Alaska, and, so far, it's amazing.

Im reading The Warlock by Michael Scott, the fifth book in the series.
So far its very, very poor. Which is upsetting because the previous four have 17/20 stars all up.

1 The Alchemyst
2 The Magician
3 The Sorceress
4 The Necromancer

message 1870: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I just returned that to the library without reading it. I had very little time and it wasn't calling to me, and then the three weeks were up. Maybe I shouldn't rush to get it out again.

message 1871: by Whitney :) (new)

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments I just started reading the book Shiver by ?????? I don't remember who it is written by.

message 1872: by Gavin (new)

Gavin (gob7893) | 5 comments I'm with Kate. The library is my safe haven. Thank God we have one. I would have run through my bank account long ago without one.

message 1873: by Melanie (last edited Jun 25, 2011 08:05AM) (new)

Melanie Harries (melanieharries) I'm not a library go-er, even though my mother is a librarian... But I buy all my books second hand, from second hand bookshops or on ebay - then I'll re-sell them!

Marie Lynn wrote: "I'm reading Looking for Alaska, and, so far, it's amazing."

All the way, it's amazing :)

I, like never go to the library. I always buy books, which is a shocking habit, but I cant help it. But hey, at least I have a good collection. My own personal library, you could say.

I still need to read Looking For Alaska.

I agree, the library is the place I can almost always go to. I have many books, but only so much money for more. If I want to read, I need to go to the library.
I am so thankful that it is within waling distance!

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments When I'm older and have my own house, I plan to have an entire room full of books- my own library like in Beauty and the Beast- http://littlemissgeekchic.files.wordp...

message 1877: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Wouldn't that be wonderful?
*Zones out, imagining such a library*

message 1878: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Kate, yeah, I can't wait till I do that. :)

*sighs* That would be amazing...

message 1879: by Melanie (new)

Melanie Harries (melanieharries) I love how Cassandra Clare moved out of New York so she could afford a house big enough to have her own library like the one in the Institute ^.^

message 1880: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Anyone who moves to have a big library is amazing.

Spring | 2 comments Hmmm... Maybe I should read Little Women next

message 1889: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) It is a pretty good book if you like that sort of thing. I found it hard to start but made myself continue and it ended up being pretty good.

message 1890: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I would give it a try, you will never know if you dont try it.

message 1891: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I have this urge to read Twilight, so I'm going to read that after I'm done (view spoiler)
