What Are You Reading Right Now?
I've actually continued reading A Great and Terrible Beauty! It's amazing, really. I'm usually like those "book a day" kinds of people, but lately, I've been reading very, very slow. I finished Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins, and Firelight by Sophie Jordan. I'm about to start Outcast by Michelle Paver and Infinity.
I thought you already read extras?? :P
hows P&P going for ya?

I'm reading The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down. I started it sometime last week, but haven't gotten anywhere. I've had too many tests to study for.

I've been wanting to read that series for a long, long time. Is it good? I'm reading Legend (Drenai Tales, #1). This is a relatively old book, published in 1984, but still surprisingly enjoyable. I expected something drab and boring, but this is very enlightening. I just finished Outcast by Michelle Paver and A Great and Terrible Beauty. Both were excellent books. Some books that I am waiting to read on my shelf: Ghost Hunter, Eragon,John Adams, Infinity, The Book Thief, and Old Yeller. Lots of books!!
I loved that book! I thought the setting and the plot was almost dreamy, you know what I mean? Although that might be influenced by the cover...anyways, it was an excellent old fashioned book!

I loved the Wood between Worlds, that made me really calm and such.
And the making of Narnia?
Freaking breathtaking.
I know, that sounded girls and weird but that's how it felt.
I liked the apple tree part. When it rised silently that at first no one knew it was growing and how it had silver apples. So cool!
Yes, I loved the Wood between Worlds! :) I also loved the mythology in this one-the rings and everything about the magic in this world was absolutely fantastic!
I know! The silver apples were epic. The rings were really cool, a good way to transport I think. It's creative.
I can't wait to get to the second book!

I loved Specials :)
It wasnt as good as Uglies, though it was better then Pretties. I keep changing between 3 and 4 stars.Right now its on 4, but it'll probably change back soonish...
I am now reading Tales of the Unexpected by Roald Dahl

I've read all three books in the Inkheart Trilogy-they are very original and fit snugly into the fantasy genre, and they also have more style and a poetic feel than most fantasy books today. Have you read any of Cornelia Funke's other books?
Definitely. She is one of my favorite authors. I love The Thief Lord, but think Dragon Rider is by far her weakest book, though it is still enjoyable.
Im hoping to read Reckless really soon...maybe getting it for Christmas :)
Have you read Reckless, her newest one-and if so, what did you think?

No, actually, I haven't. I've been planning to for a long time but I've never gotten to it. I love The Thief Lord and Dragon Rider. It's interesting how she writes in German, and then has someone else translate them for her back into English. I guess she feels most comfortable writing in her home language.

Funny. Dragon Rider is probably my favorite, with The Thief Lord as a close rival. Reckless was good...not her best, but not bad. I felt like she was kind of having trouble leaving the Inkworld behind.
ugh im find Pride and Prejudice hard to get through. right now im on page 112.
I started another book thought call Paintbox Summer i think.

I totally agree, but it's still my #2 favorite book of all-time. And I'm actually kind of glad it was an assigned book, otherwise I probably would've never finished it.

I just started The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. It's for English, but we got to choose (and my sister recommended it), so I have high hopes.

The Count of Monte Cristo. It's a 1500-ish paged beast, but it's AMAZING.
The second Chronicles of Narnia book finally came in!So now I am going to drop what I am currently reading and start The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
