I'm readingMockingjay!!!
Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex (on hold for Mockingjay, but it's good so far.)
The Kings of Clonmel (Ranger's Apprentice) (Haven't really started, on hold for Mockingjay!)
and
The Good Earth (For school.)
Someone tell me if Mockingjay was good!!!! I want to read it sooooooooooo badly, but I haven't had the chance. :'( I am currently reading The Truth About Forever, and Graceling.
Oh, that book looks amazing!
I cant wait to read it!
I have put aside Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl again (I will finish it when I get back from Amsterdam)
And am not reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown

hmmhave you read THE DA VINCI CODE?
even though I love the thought of Dan Brown being ambushed by my uncle's parish priests, I did like that book, if only for the fact that it was historically and artistically educational. I'd give that one a try!
Besides, Dan Brown's "ideas" are way too goofy to be actually offensive :P
Yes, I have read The Da Vinci Code
I read it a couple of years ago, back in 2006 I believe.
I quite liked it.
However, I think that Angels & Demons is better.
As for Brown's 'idea's, I thought his annalysis of THE LAST SUPPER paining was superbly interesting (with the V shape, matching robes, positioning etc etc)
Even though I disagree with the theory, it was very interesting and smart.
The movie however, was very average.
The movie version of Angels and Demons on the other hand, was wonderful.
I love Tom Hanks :)

Surprisingly, that analysis of The Last Supper is ridiculously common. We discussed it quite a bit in my Humanities course. But you have to remember that it is Da Vinci's depiction of The Last Supper, and he probably saw it differently than we do in modern times.Anywho, I'm currently reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, and I plan on starting Jared Diamond's Guns, Germs and Steel. His theory fascinates me, and I've been meaning to read his book for the last two years.
I'm currently re-reading How to Say Goodbye in Robot, The Eternal Ones, I'm re-reading the Marked and the rest of the series, Intensity and I love them all!
Ive still got Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl on hold. I will finish it when I get back from Amsterdam, and after ive seen her annexe.
I am almost finished Angels & Demons by Dan Brown which is REMARKABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

I just finished Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception. I read Mockingjay last week and also just started Don Quixote: Abridged Edition for school. I will probably start The Last Hunt which is the last book in the AMAZING Unicorn Chronicles series, tomorrow.
ohh I hope you like Don Quixote. The movie MAN OF LA MANCHA is good too :) I just finished HUNGER and am not sure what to read next.
I hope so too. Right now it's kinda boring. There is a crazy man that is trying to help people and be a knight and keeps messing things up worse. *Awesome*. Haha! I'm sure it will get better? I will probably end up liking it. :) I mean, it's a classic right??!!
Wow, I love Artemis Fowl. I'm not sure what to read next, too. I just finished Mockingjay and I'm not in the mood to read anything.
Just finished Angels & Demons which was excellent.
In a few hours I will be going to the airport, and flying to Kula-Lumpar, and from there to London.
There are back, it is a 40 hour plane ride, and thats no including the plane from London to Amsterdam and then to Venice.
So I have about 45 hours to kill...
I will be reading Mortal Coil on the way there, on on the return leg I will be reading Insomnia by Stephen King

Eww, 4o hours -_-. That is a ton!! I have done international flying before, not fun. At least for me its not... And sometimes I get sick when I try to read on planes, which stinks. That sounds so cool though, have fun!!
I've just finished the Hunger Games and waiting for my Catching Fire and Mockingjay order to arrive is just PAINFUL. I need those books NOW!In the meantime I'm busying myself with 'Sophie's World', it's rather fascinating!

Is Sophie's World the philosophy one? *goes to look it up*
Yup, it is. Let us know how it is; that one has been on my to-read list for a while. :)
Finally finished the well unknown James D. Priest Kirin's trilogy enjoyed it a nice little breath of fresh air. I did just start The Hunger Games and what 80 pages in already and what have I been missing. I wont lie its the first time in a while i'v read first person which irks me at times but its still amazing writing.
Courtney wrote: "@sandy what is Sophie's World about?"It's really rather amazing! Sophie's World: A Novel about the History of Philosophy . As the title suggests, it's about philosophy. It tackles some thing I'd probably never in a million years understand otherwise :) Give it a go!
I'm currently reading Hunger
Hunger by Michael Grant
I highly recommend the Gone series to all teenagers! :D
Huh, thats funny. I thought the first one was really good, and am excited to read the rest of the series.I am reading The Last Hunt right now as well, almost done.
Hahahaha, Amelia, I was cracking up while having said conersation. You're right, Hannah. Percy Jackson is VERY good. :)
I only read the 1st book. I just have to finsh 3 more series to go before I read them.
Powers of 3, Can't remember the next warriors seires, The circle reforged. I'm going to be busy... oh well! :)
I'm reading Dead Is a State of Mind. It's the second book in the Dead Is series. It's okay, but definitely not great. I will read the rest of the series, but not too willingly :P Hannah, what is Percy Jackson about? I've heard a lot about it but never really looked into it.
Chloe: Percy Jackson is about a young boy (who ages as the books go on) who discovers that the Greek myths are real and exist in modern America. It's a wonderful, wonderful series and I highly recommend it.
I'm about to finish The Maze Runner. This book has taken me FOREVER to read. It's kinda hard to get through, I think.
