What books have you just bought or got from the library?

Ooh Tarra, Merry Gentry is such an excellent series, enjoy!

Bianca. Well done, last time I went into a bookshop to "browse" I bought 8 books! You only bought 2, it hardly counts :)
I'm going to the shop with the express intention of buying two particular books - wonder how many I will actually end up just having to have!?!?!

not like I have anytime to read them anytime soon though with all the books I have on my bookshelf already...lol
Looks like a well spent lunchtime to me! Where I work is not in a big town so there is no book shop near me - no fair! But then if there were I'd be buying books all the time and my bookshelf is already full!

estep), The Darkest Passion (Gena Showalter), and Moon Sworn (Keri Arthur). I missed two books I went in for but found two I wasn't. There's always next week.....and maybe sometime I might catch up. ;)

I should get my copy of Magic Bleeds tomorrow or Saturday at the latest, I can't wait!
Ames, it would be wrong not to take advantage of a 3 for 2 offer! I'm shopping on Saturday so I might do so myself (read will buy at least 6 books again!!)
Do you go to the Dark Fantasy section in Waterstones by any chance?

Yes! But they always have 3 for 2 on certain YA and adult books so I've been going in on a frighteningly regular basis as the prices are the same as ordering online with this offer. Have you noticed online prices have been really low lately, not that I'm complaining?!
I've promised myself I will open an eBay account and start selling off my low-rated reads. I'm in desperate need of shelf space.
I love that prices are lower at the moment, but it does not help me to cut down on buying books to add to my large physical TBR - but if I'm going to get them might as well when they're on offer right?

haha well I had about 4 in my hands at one time and looking at others, but I just kept thinking 'oh dear what will the bf say!' especially since I have another 13 on order that should get here when the new Stephenie Meyers comes out ^_^

really?? hopefully you'll be able to get unbound pleasure soon.

I have heard Soulless and Blue Diable are good. Happy reading!

I have these from the library right now:

I also just bought (and read)

Vamps and the City (aber auf Deutsch)
Three Bags Full
The Book of General Ignorance
Jaz Parks books 1-3:
-Once Bitten, Twice Shy
-Another One Bites the Dust
-Biting the Bullet
...and some language reference books. But those (except Jaz) go to the bottom of the TBR pile. June will start "kick-butt female UF heroines" month, grand marshaled by Ms. Anita Blake! :o)

I hated, hated, hated Bullet! For many reasons. Be prepared for all kinds of sex (i.e. m/m, m/m/f, f/f, BDSM etc.).
Ok, I have to share my good fortune. I bought [book:Animal Life: The Definite Visual Guide to Animals and Their Behaviour|4003847] for a fifth of it's original price! I know it's non-fiction but it was £30, and I got it for £6 at WH Smiths. I've wanted it for ages, I'm so happy.

I'm just missing Morganville Vampires #2. I've actually read Morganville all ready but I didn't own them (except the recent one), it's one of my fave YA series. Now I'm wondering how I'm going to sneak them into the house, maybe a few at a time? I should never shop at lunchtime.

Excellent bargin Ames! Maybe you could hide the books in the grocery shopping bags to get them in the house? I have a fab large cotton bag I always take with me when I plan book shopping, no one can see what I have in it, great for when I bought 10 rather than 2!!

OMG, that's exactly what I did! I had a John Lewis one in my bag and went to Morrisons and just bought a couple of items to make it look convincing. It worked! Great minds think alike!
