Mortal Instruments - C. Clare

At first I didn't know if I was as crazy about it as I was for the previous covers. . .but I've decided I am! I definitely am! <3 AHHH. I'M SO EXCITED.

I love the way the you can see the light really coming from the Jace's ring.

I like that there will be at least two people on the covers though. Ah, I hope we get to see Jace's face! In a way that could be good or bad.

And I know what you mean. Clary's a lot prettier in my mind. I like the actress who's going to play her more then the covergirl.

SPOILER ALERT
Yes they do.
She was contracted for a trilogy so her plot lines were set for 3 books. Then they expanded it so that's why you've got the 2 parts which are a little confusing. The 4th isn't out yet. It'll have diff characters though.

Hmmm, to purchase the new book or not? I bought the box set of the previous three. I'm wondering if I should wait for the next three to come out that way. Problem is, they might just clump them all together so I'd have to buy books 1-3 again.

"That stoner dude, Jace, says he hooked up with someone over the summer," Kevin whispers. "But I hear all the pictures he's showing around are really pictures of his half sister. Fifty bucks says there's no girlfriend."

Or does it really not matter?

The curseworkers books are very fun though. I like the mafia family vibe. The lead is male, which is different. They have a theme that I haven't seen in a series before, and their magic comes with consequences.
Now, if you haven't read Clockwork Angel by Clare, that is one I'd say is one you should read if you get the chance before City of Fallen Angels comes out. There are a couple of crossover characters and details between the series. I have the feeling Camille from CA will show up in CoFA because she's shown talking to Magnus at the end of CoG.

Glad I"m not the only one. I just feel guily becuase I always recomend them, but I haven't been keeping up. Oh, well marathon here I come!

I was thinking that too, hehe. ;)
I have been interested in White Cat for some time but I feel like I read some bad reviews for it and got turned off. >< Hopefully I'll be able to give it a try sometime.

I loved White Cat, and most of my friends who've read it loved it as well. The world is so different from anything I've read before. Her other fae series didn't impress me as much.

*I lied. I just checked the cover out again and I actually really like it. hmmm.

I loved White Cat, and most of my f..."
I liked it, I just didn't love it. It was different and I liked the world, but I hate when nothing surprises me in a book and I saw everything coming with WC.
I think anybody that has it on their tbr list should give it a try. I just don't think they should read it for Jace since his name is only mentioned in passing very briefly. I thought people might think he was mentioned more than he is. What is posted here and other places is all there is. You won't read any more about him by reading the whole book.

Her humor is definitely there. She is witty with her characters and she does not paint her characters all fluffy and happy.
