That makes sense, La Chipie. I hope you like Again the Magic more.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Gem, my problem is with the time travel. I'm not a fan!!!

Me either, UM! It's super hard for me to find a time-travel book that I actually like.

I'm reading Dark Deceptions (A-Tac, #1) by Dee Davis

message 2556: by ~Jennifer~ (last edited Feb 16, 2011 09:43AM) (new)

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) I took a mini-detour from the dark and dangerous and finished Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie . It was very enjoyable, light, & funny. Now I think I'll go back to my moody men. Starting In Bed With the Devil (Scoundrels of St. James, #1) by Lorraine Heath . It looks like it might be a little like Lord of Scoundrels (Scoundrels #3) by Loretta Chase .

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments @ UM and Megan - I am not a fan of time travel either, but Sandra Hill's Viking II series is entertaining. They are cheesy, but a good cheesy.

message 2558: by Gemma (new)

Gemma (bookmoodreviews) | 241 comments There was a book that had the character go to regency england but it the heroine was sucked into pride and prejudice. That was really good!

Was it Lost in Austen or something like that?

Yes, Sam can be a caveman. He can go crazy, where Alyssa is involved.

message 2564: by ~Jennifer~ (new)

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) In Bed With the Devil (Scoundrels of St. James, #1) by Lorraine Heath SO GOOD...so so Good. If you liked Lord of Scoundrels....you'll love this one. I think I love it a little more in fact. I didn't want to shoot Luke once where Dain had me wanting to commit a little bodily harm on him a couple times! Did I mention it was SO GOOD? =D

Next up is Eon Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman .

message 2565: by [deleted user] (new)

The Secret (Highlands' Lairds, #1) by Julie Garwood This is actually the first book I have read by Julie Garwood and it is good! I think I may have to read her entire booklist and soon...it will play hell with my TBR list (219 books and counting LMAO). I think this book might actually hit my top 10 it is that good!

Steph

message 2566: by Lynette (new)

Lynette Smith | 21 comments Johanna Lindsey's Hearts Aflame (The second book in the Viking Haardrad Family series 1987)was excellent. Kristen was the prisoner of Royce, very dark and moody, but she tamed him in the end!

Read Again The Magic by Lisa Kleypas in a rush, couldn't put it down! OMG, it was wonderful, even made me cry. Seriously, Lisa Kleypas got herself some serious talent!

JG is one of my absolute favorite authors. Every one of her historicals is magic, and I quite like her contemporary suspense series, too!

message 2576: by ConstantReader76a (new)

ConstantReader76a | 26 comments I finished Covet at 11 last night! It was very good and I love the interaction between Vin and Jim. It may be worthwhile keeping an eye on Adrian though... He shows definite promise as a future bad boy!

message 2577: by ConstantReader76a (new)

ConstantReader76a | 26 comments Seducing Simon by Maya Banks and Bound By Honor by Diana Palmer are on my weekend reading list. I've read a lot of very average books lately (with one or two exceptions) and I hope not to be disappointed!

message 2578: by ~Jennifer~ (new)

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) Currently reading Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, #1) by Lisa Kleypas and Brave New World Revisited by Aldous Huxley (reading that one slow since it's a little disturbing and completely unlike what I consider 'fun' reading.)

message 2579: by Ren Puspita (new)

message 2581: by Ren Puspita (new)

Ren Puspita (renpuspita) @Megan : Really? I hope I can enjoy this too. ^^

Nora is my favorite author (and J.D. Robb too)

message 2582: by Lynette (new)

Lynette Smith | 21 comments Great trilogy you must get The Hollow and The Pagan stone as well. Only criticism is that they drag a little and the end comes to swiftly.

message 2583: by ~Megan~ (new)

~Megan~ (megadee) | 1084 comments Mod
Yep Ren...she's one of my favorites as well! I found some parts of this book to be extremely creepy. I think about that freaky little kid when I'm alone sometimes. *shiver*

They do drag a little sometimes with all the planning and thinking, Lynette....but I still love them! These, I think, are some of her best characters.

message 2584: by Ren Puspita (new)

Ren Puspita (renpuspita) I have both The Hollow and The Pagan Stone...

Will devour it all ;)

it's pretty good so far but all the typos like "des par ate" are starting to annoy me!

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) Just look at the cover and you'll forget about the typos. lol I like him. He looks a little like the guy on The Iron Duke. =D

Hi Serena, I was trying to find this one too. It's out of print right now, the author has changed publishers. A new printing will be out this summer. I ended up getting a copy to read from the library.

Shellbelle | 161 comments Reading Dreams of a Dark Warrior (Immortals After Dark, #11) by Kresley Cole and I'm loving it! It's taking me a while to read because i'm sick and keep falling asleep :( but it's sooo very good!

message 2591: by Serena (new)

Serena | 31 comments Megan, I just finished up the 1st book (shadow game?)...oh it was hilarious, I absolutely love Ryland!

Tammy, so that explains why I've been seeing release dates of (8/2011). And my library selections are poor...all the good stuff are in perpetual check out :-(

Awww feel better Shellbelle!

A lot of people don't care for Shadow Game, Serena, but I really liked it. They get progressively better in my opinion, only a couple duds here and there.

Shellebelle, I hope you feel better.

Totally agree with you about the GhostWalkers, Megan. I have this urge to reread Ruthless Game and Water Bound right now, but I have to get through my tbr pile!

message 2594: by Serena (new)

Serena | 31 comments Megan, Thats even better then lol! ....I actually wanted to read a Christine Feehan book since I've seen recommendations for a few of her series. I saw Ruthless Game first (with all its great reviews) and decided I would start with this series first but from the beginning. Which is your favorite book in the series so far?

Danielle, I'm looking forward to reading that pretty soon :-)

Just finished Married By Morning (The Hathaways, #4) by Lisa Kleypas . OMG, it was so good to read Leo's story! His bickerings with Marks were amusing to no end, but their love... So perfect. Not to mention huge scenes of ferret mischief! A must read, IMO. :D
