The hero is a werewolf....but the series actually contains all kind of things like tigers, dragons, witches, sorcerers, demons, etc.

Jaime Rush (jaime_rush) | 59 comments Arch wrote: "lol, your poor husband Jaime_Rush."

No, he insists on driving the whole time. Guy thing, I guess. Sometimes I have to argue with him when he starts getting sleepy. "You're tired. Let me drive for a while." Him: "No, I'm fine." "Do you want to kill us? Your eyes are drooping." Him: "I'm fine, really." "Fine." So I sit and watch him, and by then he's annoyed enough at me that he's awake again. Am I a genius or what???

Oh, and started The Dream Thief (Drakon, #2) by Shana Abé . Loved The Smoke Thief (Drakon, #1) by Shana Abé .

OMG Blood Challenge (World of the Lupi, #7) by Eileen Wilks was so good!!! I really can't say enough about it! I think I gushed about it in my review and made no sense whatsoever. Maybe I should have given myself some time to come down from it LOL It's probably not objective at all.

Now onto Ruthless Game (GhostWalkers, #9) by Christine Feehan !

I just finished it too, and oh boy, what a good one this one was. It seems like so much happened, I can't wait for the next one, especially with the ending to this one.

message 2167: by Dija (new)

Dija @Megan @Darcy: Is the World of the Lupi series good? It seems that way, but I'm sort of hesitant about starting looong series like that, but is it worth the length anyway?

I really like this series, the book Megan and I were talking about is #7, so kind of long. But like any series, some of them are better than others. There are a couple in this book that drag, but overall the series is good. It is a very different take on werewolves, there is a lot of magic based things too.

I would say give it a try, the first book is really good.

message 2169: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments The lupi is a different name for werewolves. The first book is Tempting Danger (World of the Lupi, #1) by Eileen Wilks

I love Robyn Carr's Virgin River series...the second book is even better than the first, and then you get all attached to the characters. There are so many plots and subplots upon other underlying subplots.

Darcy, so I have been told. Megan, I am kind of worried about getting sucked into another series. I have so many! But it does sound very good.

That's true, but they're a nice break sometimes from all the paranormal I read. At some point, there's only so many demons, vampires, and shifters I can take!! I need a hunky sweetheart to make me feel mushy again!
