I think it's the best in the series too. I'm looking forward to more books with Chaos motorcycle club :)

Tina Furtado | 2 comments I just recently started reading Paranormal Romances, currently reading Lover Revealed (BDB)and I feel so disappointed in myself for hiding under a rock and being so silly by just judging the whole romance genre. Simply thinking they were all about sexy men with long wavy hair riding on a horse and saving the damsels... UGH! Now Im just dying to finish the series I love it so much!

Stevie (the3boysnme) | 9 comments Need some recommendations. Just finished the Elders Race Series - Dragon Bound being my absolute favorite. Not just because Dragos was so very.... geez-nothing fits, but because the story is just all out well crafted and the writing I found so enjoyable. I have a ton of books on my TR pile, but my OCD side needs more of what Harrison did. Any suggestions? Hurry, I am bookless!!!

My friend came to visit Saturday. Turns out she and some women at work read the 50 Shades trilogy. Let me tell you, my friend is very demure. Like more than me. She was like, wow! She begged my sister and I to read it so we could talk about it. She even left us her Kindle to read it since I told her I wasn't going to spend money on the book. The good news is she is a big Twilight fan now. Score!!!

I like 50 shades; for me it was a love story and that point seems to be forgotten or dismissed by some critics. I feel the readers who protest about its topic may protest too much about themselves;)! Sure ELjames needed a thesaurus and a better editor, but it's still a great love story. If you like it though; Bared to YOu is even better and for me Eva is more realistic than Ana. Choosing between Christian and Gideon would be very hard, very!

message 5017: by Breeze (last edited Sep 11, 2012 06:41AM) (new)

Breeze I am reading Gabriels Rapture by Sylavin Reynard. It is the second to Gabriels Inferno. If you like a love story that is intense and passionate this is a fantastic read. The second is better than the first; it's all consuming. It's like a eating something you love so you slow down to enjoy it more; bite by bite, page by page. I stopped myself from ripping through it and am happy I did!

I've been really shocked at the people that I know that have read Fifty. It makes me feel less like hiding my smutty reading tendencies. :) Do you plan on reading it, Lady D?

@ Hilary - I liked them too! I can usually see past editing mistakes, unless they make it hard to follow the story. Anyone who can pen a decent novel gets kudos from me! The lady did well for herself.

Hi Duchess! I am going to read the first book because my friend asked me to. I'm not committing to reading the rest because I have heard the content gets more erotic than I care for.

I don't judge folks for what they read, so I hope I don't sound that way. I'm not much on erotica, so that's why I haven't been eager to read it. A few other reasons. Not because I think it's bad literature. That's not me at all! I love genre fiction. I hate book snobbery!

I did not like Gabriel's Inferno, and that's stating it mildly. I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room while reading that book. Different strokes and all that but man, that book made me mad!

I wasn't a fan of it either. I thought the dialogue was SO cheesy. It would almost work better as a historical romance with all the "my darling"s...just didn't buy into it as a contemporary book. I didn't find Gabriel sexy either...socially awkward, more like it.

Rachel the Book Harlot | 217 comments I've been reading kind of a hodge podge of stuff lately because I find that I start to get bored or in a rut really quickly these days if I don't switch things up so I finished a HR Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale (really liked it), a lit fic Bodega Dreams by Ernesto Quiñonez (really liked it), and now I'm reading a futuristic sci fi crime thriller Clean (Mindspace Investigations, #1) by Alex Hughes .

I'm sorry, Lady D. It sucks when that happens. This might sound weird but sometimes it helps me to take a break mentally by watching movies or documentaries. It kind of reboots my system and sometimes will cause me to crave a certain genre. Maybe that might help? :)
