Would Children of God be okay? It involves space travel to another planet but I'm not sure how much of the story involves the travelling.

Sara, that is what I am planning on reading as well, so I really hope that it is allowed!
that would be great because i read the first one and started the second one forever ago and would love to get back into it.
Sarah wrote: "Cynthia are any books from The Hitchhiker's guide allowed?"I've never read them but as long as there is some space travel they count.

I'll take it.

Yes
Yeah, there's DEFINITELY space travel involved. And probably some time travel, just to make things more interesting... ;)
Sara ♥ wrote: "There's definitely space travel in that one."Thanks. I have been meaning to read it for a while. Gosh, I hate it when there are like two books that you want to read for the same task and then you have to pick...
Sara ♥ wrote: "There's always the reading-in-bed task..."That is true. Plus like 12 tasks that haven't been assigned yet.
Ooooh, if Rocket Boys is allowed, I highly recommend it! It's such a great book. I just looked and saw that he's also written other books, including a thriller type book about astronauts! So I might go for that...
Lost Moon: The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13 by Jim Lovell and Jeffrey Kluger would also work - it's the book that the movie Apollo 13 was based on.
