I had all of my art books fall on me one day in college. The shelf collapsed and the books hurt. Plus, my sculptures from Italy broke when they hit the ground. Good luck avoiding death by books.
Welcome, Tarryn.
Welcome, Tarryn.
Ya, I was ticked. I carried that stuff around Europe for 4 weeks a piece and for 2 different trips at that.
Hello! I'm Natalee from Texas. I've been a member of GR for awhile but got really busy w/ the Gulf oil spill and have been MIA for a bit. I am getting back on track w/ "me time" for 2011. So, I am looking forward to e-meeting you and talking about books! :)

Hey Heather. I didn't realize you weren't in this group. I should have sent you an invite ages ago.
I'm copying and pasting this from a thread that someone opened seeing how we already have an Introduction thread.
This is from Rob. (I edited the title error to make the first post work.)
-Hi, I'm new here. I'm a novelist and screenwriter, father, husband, skier, zipliner, dog owner (though I think he actually owns me), I have a new fantasy novel, "God Wars: Living with Angels" coming out on March 1st as an ebook, available on Amazon.com, BarnesandNobel.com, et al., and am looking forward to participating on this site. Thanks!

Hi, I'm Shannon from Pennsylvania. I'm still kinda new to Goodreads. This group is fantastic by the way, everytime I "drop in" I find more books to add to my to-read list. :)
Hi, I'm Colleen from Indiana. I read a little bit of everything but most frequently paranormal romance and mostly on audio.
Hey guysI am Connie, 24 years of age and I am from the UK, near Manchester. I love reading paranormal romance, just like you guys. I love the Mercy series by Patricia Briggs (can't wait for the next book to come out), the Alpha and Omega series by her, Lauren Kate's Fallen series, Twilight etc. I dont want to bore you guys any longer though :)
Hello, I am a Canadian living in Sweden. I used to work in a book store, where I discovered Kelley Armstrong, Karen Marie Moning and fell in love with Paranormal Romance. I do like to read almost anything though. Hopefully I will learn of new authors and books. Since moving to Sweden I have lost touch with reading and am glad to get back into it!
Hi! I'm Cindy - I'm 25 and from Michigan. I do a lot of reading - I really like paranormal romance, romance in general, YA, distopian novels, mystery, fantasy and pretty much anything that makes me laugh.
Hi! Welcome Cindy & Violet :)
Hi! I'm Lacy, I'm 36 and I am from California. I am married with children. I love to read. I'll read just about anything. The first book I'll be reading with you will be Pale Demon...as soon as it arrives in my mailbox! My favorite authors in this genre are Kim Harrison, J.R. Ward, Charlaine Harris, Anne Rice and so many more!
Welcome Lacy! I have yet to read Harrison. I already have a few of her books so I will get to her eventually.

Plus, I wanted to join a book club! Oh yeah. I'm Alice Turner Hi(waves):)
Hi Alice? How old are you? I'd love to suggest my favorite Vamp series but I can't unless you're old enough :)
Hello everyone!
My name is Elizabeth. I am 26 years, I've been happily married for seven and a half years, and have a 2 year-old daughter. As far as my love of books is concerned, I'll read just about anything. I do, however, especially enjoy vampire novels as well as other paranormal novels. My favorite author is Laurell K. Hamilton, which should pretty much speak for itself. I look forward to getting involved with the group and sharing my love of reading.
