I was going to start The Host but the library let me know that The Last Song is available, so I picked that up after work today.

I remember that book; I read it years ago. Let us know what you think...
Jo wrote: "I'm reading Tales of Ordinary Madness"have you seen the movie barfly? it's based on bukowski's life.

Sure thing..It's not too bad soo far. I am about 70pgs in and It's pretty good.
Right now I have two going - first
and then I got the notice that
was in at the library, so I picked it up and opened it tonight. Loving both of them so far.

I have hunger games on my shelf. I should really get to it. I'm glad that you are liking it.

I'm reading my first Virgina Wolff! "Mrs. Dalloway" is amazing so far.To be honest, I've wanted to read her for a while, but the thing that pushed me to do it was my newfound love for Michael Cunningham who wrote "The Hours" among others - and I don't want to read that before I've read "Mrs. Dalloway."

I finished this book today and I thought it was pretty good. I liked it about the same as the first book so if you liked the first book ok I would recommend reading the second book. It's a good quick read anyway.
ll be starting Specials (Uglies, #3)and the book I won and got the other day How Not to Marry the Wrong Guy I will read it to write the review...thisis the book I won in a give away and pay enough attention to what I was entering for because it is a self help book on how not to marry the wrong guy...and well I am married already lol...but I will read it and post a review and pass it on to one of my unmarried friends lol

Yas wrote: "The Pillars of the EarthIts bloody brilliant at the moment, absolutely love it!"
How long did it take to get brilliant? I put it down after a few chapters...I chalked it up to me not being in the mood for a historical read. So, tell me how long I have to slog until the bloody brilliant part, please.
I've put aside Beside a Burning Sea - which is REALLY good - for the Hunger Games and Catching Fire this weekend. I only have a little bit left of Catching Fire, and I've been sneaking in a page or two when ever I thought I could. What an addicting ride!
I'm reading "Horns". It's a novel that I won on a Goodreads giveaway. I wouldn't have bought it on my own, but after starting it, I'm happy to have it. Although I'm not very far into it, I'm really enjoying it.
I am reading My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult and I am only a few pages in and I really like it so far I think it will be interesting and am hoping to read a big chunk of it tomorrow :)
I just started Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum. I'm really not that thrilled with it so far, but I would still like to finish it.
Jen, I read THOSE WHO SAVED US several months ago and I loved it. Of course, I was really into WW II stories and this just seemed to fit in. I hope you stay with the book and it becomes one of your favorites.

We will see, sometimes a reader feels different by the end of a book.
I am reading
and will starting
in a day or two once I pick the book up from my friends moms house but I will have it this weekend!!!!
Mom Still Likes You Best: The Unfinished Business Between Siblingsi started this last night. this is a book in won in a giveaway! exciting!
Elizabeth - You will have to tell me if it is any good. I have 10 siblings (11 kids in the fam) and it is insanity. My mom thought something was wrong with us because we fought so much and even as adult we still do :D
I have one younger bro by four years and I still rule.
Well I finished My Sister's Keeper and it was a great story but very sad, the ending really threw me for a loop I practically went back and read it again to make sure I wasn't confused...but then I would have cried more.As for what I am reading now I don't know what I should start next...
I finished Beside a Burning Sea, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. Gave 5 stars to each Hunger Games and Catching Fire, and 4 stars to Beside a Burning Sea. I'm now about 1/3 through Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West which is different from what I was expecting, but interesting. I've got the sequel on my bedside too - Son of a Witch, but at this point am not sure I'm that excited to move to it after Wicked is done. We'll see. I have a stack ready to go back to the library today, so it'll be fun to see which books I come home with!
I just finished Those who Save us and I just started today
and I think I'm like 200 pages in and might I say it is deliciously irresistible. I can't wait til my girlies go to bed so i can finish it up.
I know right. I could not put this book down. It was such different book and the plot just kept you rolling. It is hard to put the book down when you know something good is right on the next page.
I totally had to add Souless to my TBR after reading your praise for it!As for what I'm reading now I decided on
I'm just under 100 pages in and it's not bad but so far I actually liked the first book more. I'm expecting it to get better though it's still seems to be in the set-up stage
I'm taking
to work with me today. My daughter is taking The Last Song with her to school today so she has something to read. I might start
this week too.
I hope my praise is worth it. Enjoy the book!
KSMary, the Postmistress looks like it will be a good read.
