Funny - I was just checking out Pulizer winners...I wish this was available for my Kindle - I'll have to put it on the library list!
Those Who Save Us i just finished this and it is excellent!i started How to Escape from a Leper Colony: A Novella and Stories. i took a writing class with this writer and i am eager to read this first work.
I'm reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld and I'm almost done with it so soon I should be starting Pretties
I'm reading - the short second life of bree tanner by Stephanie Meyer. It is going very quickly and is a short book, too. Will start The Drowning Pool by Ross MacDonald shortly. Finished Love Bites - A Vampire Kisses Novel by Ellen Schreiber and also Katie MacAlister's Love in the Time of Dragons. Katie is as always very humorous.
I'm currently reading Incarceron. I don't know how I feel about it. It gets such good reviews, but it didn't grab me at the beginning. We'll see I guess...

I finished The other book i'm now reading two books."Black Boy" By Richard Wright
"Dance with the Devil" By Sherrilyn Kenyon
Book one is okay.
Book two is rather good can't wait to read the ending.
I'm currently reading Sabriel by Garth Nix. I'm almost 150 pages into it and it's very promising. Much like Tamora Pierce in style.I have a TON of books coming in at the library though, so I'm excited for those.
finished How to Escape from a Leper Colony: A Novella and Stories last night. very interesting set of stories.started Rise and Shine which is good so far.
Jo wrote: "I'm reading Linger"jo, i'd love to know what you think. i am interested in reading this book. i've seen it on many lists of good reads.
@ jo,i didn't realize it was a series! yikes. how many in the series before i start with number one?
The Good Thief finished this in two days. excellent book!now reading Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.
I just finished
. I didn't like it as much as Stardust. Next is Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia
I'm reading
and
right now. When I went to the library tonight to pick up Storm Prey, the librarian asked when I was going to start working there...evidently I've become a regular?
i love zadie smith! when i saw her do a reading of this book, she read in different voices for each character. i loved it!now i'm reading WAR by sebastian junger.
I gave up :(I just couldn't like the characters and their quirky names started to annoy me lol. I plan to try White Teeth though, might prefer that.
Currently I am reading
and
. It is very interesting to read about the same person from different perspectives. C.W. Gortner tries to put Catherine in a very good light; while The Devil Queen does not.
I started
tonight upon Elizabeth's recommendation. I've also got
going, which I'm not enjoying as much as I expected. somehow it's another one of those reads I think I'd like better in the winter. I'm finding that some books have the wrong feel in the middle of summer.
